Nestled on a quaint courtyard, this pristine large Parisian one bedroom loft, quiet light and airy, is havenly located in the very heart of historical Paris, half a block from the famous place de la Bastille and a short walk from beloved Place des Vosges and trendy Marais.
It’s the perfect vacation rental apartment for a truly Parisian living experience in the heart of the dynamic and cosmopolitan district of Bastille.

Pass a large beautiful eighteen century planted cobblestoned courtyard, climb 3 easy flights of stairs of a quaint secure and quiet building and you are home: a chic, vast, airy and sunny loft, lovingly decorated with high end XXth century furniture, so quiet you will not believe you are in the middle of it all, with trendy bars and restaurants right at your feet.
With 5 large windows looking out south onto the sky, high ceilings and hardwood floors, this property boasts comfortable 65 square meters – 700 sqf - and can accomodate up to 3 guests.
The master bedroom is equiped with a queen size thick high quality mattress, while the living room is fitted with 2 elegant deluxe day beds.
The pristine bathroom, accessible both from the bedroom and the living room, is huge. You will bless the large bathtub after a long day of sightseing...
The open marble and stainless steel kitchen is equipped for the most discriminating foodies, while the Knoll table can hold a 4 guests dinner.

Around Bastille St Antoine :
Le Marais is a 5 minutes stroll. Going to Le Louvre, Palais Royal, the Champs Elysées, take line 1 for a few stops from the Bastille metro hub, half a block away. The bus stop right in front of the door takes you to St Germain des Près.
Famous farmers markets at Aligre and Richard Lenoir are steps away.

I will personnaly welcome you at Bastille St Antoine and tell you everything about the fabulous neighbourhood. A bottle of wine will await you, as well as a detailed guide book of the property and my favourite recommendations.
Check-ins and check-outs may be flexible beyond regular hours when possible. We may also accomodate your luggage upon arrival, if we cannot have you check-in right away.

Genuine Parisian Experience

Piko's apartment is cozy and very well equipped for what was a month-long stay. The communication around the apartment, how things work, checking in, etc. was clear and timely. We know the area and enjoyed staying there as there is much to do, many places to shop and eat. A very nice property!

Exceptional flat in a great area

My wife and I stayed here late May/early June and could not have been more impressed. A great flat, clean, well maintained and decorated, spacious and in a nice area. Just a short walk to a Metro station and many restaurants. Piko met us for checkin and gave a detailed explanation of how things in the flat worked and checked on us during our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this flat.

First off, she’s an amazing host who will go out of her way to make sure you have a wonderful time. She’s very easy to get in contact with and can arrange transportation for you to/from the apartment to/from the airport. I’d recommend that. You could also take the metro, but the personal driver made things so easy and we thought he was well worth the price. The apartment is VERY close to the metro and we felt like it was a very safe neighborhood. You can walk at night and see several solo women and/or parents with young children out walking. There are many restaurants and coffee shops just outside of the apartment courtyard. The apartment itself is very modern and clean. Anything you could need, is in there. I always try to give a fair and honest review of vacation rentals. This place, and host, are absolutely wonderful. I’d highly recommend.

Perfect in Bastille

We had a wonderful stay in the heart of Paris. This home is very close to many attractions and the Metro station is just at the end of the block. Piko was a very helpful host and provided with a detailed check to ensure we were able to enjoy the beautiful apartment to its fullest. The flat is very quiet and extremely comfortable with a full kitchen. We were very comfortable to cool meals and enjoy our life as temporary Parisians!

Wonderful apartment and location

Spent 3 weeks in Piko's wonderful apartment. Furnished with care and quality, with lots of creative touches. The apartment is secure, super comfy and truly felt like home (even comfortable during a week of heat wave!). Piko is quick to respond with advice/answers to any questions. The location is great, close to useful metro stations and buses, as well as all you need in the way of grocery shopping, take home meals, restaurants, cafés, boulangeries. The area has a great mix of the new and traditional. A wonderful stay!

A wonderful pied-à-terre in Paris!

We had a wonderful time in Paris staying at Piko's beautiful apartment! It's a charming apartment, perfectly clean, quiet, and full of thoughtful details and unique design elements. The space was large and bright with lots of room for 2 adults or 2 adults + 2 kids. It was fully stocked with everything you needed and Piko made sure we knew how everything worked before she left us which we really appreciated. Outstanding property in a delightful and tranquil location

We spent a week at this charming and comfortable property. We really couldn’t fault anything, everything that could make our stay more pleasant had been considered. We loved meeting Piko at check-in and appreciated being shown through the apartment. It made a difference to helping us settle in, and Piko’s addition of breakfast croissants, bread and a bottle of Bordeaux was so thoughtful. The apartment is at the back of the complex and looks onto a shared courtyard, so it’s very peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and the central heating meant we were warm as the temperature dropped outside. The apartment is situated in the charming Bastille area, and is surrounded by beautiful bistros, cafe and restaurants. There are a couple of supermarkets nearby and lots of interesting artisanal stores. We had the most beautiful week and would gladly return again! Thanks Piko!

Best apartment ever

The apartment is in excellent location. Good neighbourhood, quite central but quiet, near a metro station with 3 lines. Nearby supermarkets (one small and one larger), bakeries and cafes. The apartment is spacious. There are lage windows in the living room. The kitchen is large and has everything you might need and beyond, including spices, oil, coffee, dishwasher and soap, induction stove and plenty of utensils. The bed is very comfortable with two pillows, one down filled and the other with synthetic fibers, for allergic people. The bathroom is large, with high quality towels. hot water is available any time. And we keep the best to the end. Piko is the best host we have ever met. She is responsive, she thinks about tiny details to make her guests comfortable. She walked us patiently through everything about the apartment and its content. She prepared a booklet with maps of the area in which she indicated the locations of supermarkets, bakeries and recommended restaurants. The directions she gave us for reaching the apartment were clear and accurate. She met us exactly at the agreed upon time. Pikot speaks good English. Poeple who have limited mobility should be aware that the apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator.

Clean and quiet in the heart of the Bastille

Piko is a wonderful host, so organized and prepared. All transactions with her went smoothly and perfectly. She met us at the apartment and explained everything thoroughly. The place is very well stocked and has everything one needs. The bathroom is huge, especially for Paris with a lovely tub with a shower in it. The bed was a bit hard for me but my husband found it comfortable. The apartment is quiet as it is at the back of a courtyard off the street. Other than noisy neighbours one night it was fine for sleeping with the windows open. This isn't the place for you if you want to party or play your Tv loudly with the windows open but it is a great spot to be in the action of the Bastille without the street noise at night. We loved our breakfast pastries from the Blé Sucré every morning and could find everything else we needed within a few blocks. We took advantage of Piko's offer to arrange a driver to and from the airport. Matthieu was kind and helpful, a delight to work with. He carried my bags up and down the three flights of stairs for me! We also booked him one evening for a late night drive around the city to see the lights and sights. Thanks, Matthieu! If you want to live like a Parisian in a less touristy part of Paris this is the place for you.

Perfect Apartment With Exemplary Personal Touches

Our host, Piko, made our stay in Paris the best it could be. Fresh flowers, wine, sparkling water in the refrigerator and croissants were some of the “extra personal touches” which greeted us. The notebook was invaluable as it contained a map of the neighborhood with locations noted for bakeries, grocers, restaurants and farmers markets. The Bed linens were lovely, neatly pressed and inviting. The attention to detail could not be surpassed. However diligent, Piko could not control the blazing heat scorching the city. The fans made the evenings more tolerable but unscreened windows invited mosquitoes. Piko provided options to repell the pests but I represent a tasty morsel that no repellent can protect. There were numerous useful books and travel guides provided, adapters and a wonderfully stocked cabinet of seasonings and spices. A word of caution for “mature” renters who may have knee or respiratory issues. Youth will be undaunted by three flights of stairs but some over 65 with luggage to carry should know this is no small task. The stairs and inability to cool the apartment is the reason I rated 4 stars rather than 5. These were beyond Piko’s control. We had a rental car and used the parking garage very near the apartment; pricey but worth it for us rather than street parking on a very busy street. Piko was a wonderful host who provided a charming, well-appointed and delightful apartment in Paris.

Lots of restaurants nearby. Grocery and bakery close to you. Very quiet off the main street. Host was very helpful and even warned us that the Paris Marathon was scheduled our last day and was coming down our street. She suggested to plan our driver pickup a block away, so helpful.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dieser hellen Wohnung mit Blick in einen ruhigen Innenhof sehr genossen. In der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche mache das Kochen Spaß, vor allem mit den Zutaten aus den nahegelegenen Märkten. Ins Zentrum gelangt man über einen Spaziergang an der Seine oder mehrere nahegelegene Metro- oder Busverbindungen. Auch die nähere Umgebung ist sehr schön zum Bummeln.

Perfect Apartment and Perfect Host!

I stayed at Piko's apartment with my two friends for (3) weeks, and we absolutely loved it! The apartment was perfect for us. Very spacious with everything we might need and probably forgot at home (umbrella, reusable shopping bags, kitchen supplies, etc). Two of us slept on the two daybeds in the living room, they were perfectly comfortable and we slept well! Finally, Piko was an A+ host! She was very informative and attentive with any questions we had, and the apartment had a very extensive guide book full of recommendations and instructions for operating all of the appliances. All in all, it was the perfect stay! Thank you so much Piko.

Love like a Parisian

Pikos apartment is amazing with all of the amenities that you could possibly want. The Bastille area is perfection. We walked and found so many wonderful things to do and see. The Metro is so close and very easy to use. There are shops and restaurants right outside the building. It really is wonderful to go from the hustle and bustle to walking through the door and it being so peaceful and quiet. Pikos hospitality was outstanding along with her recommendations, maps, assistance with transportation through Matthieu etc. We had friends that stayed in a 5 star $900 a night hotel room and Pikos place, by far, outmatched that hotel hands down. Thank you for a wonderful stay for our first time in Paris.

Loved our stay in The Bastille! Piko is the ultimate host. The Bastille night life is jumping. The Sunday and Thursday markets at Place de la Bastille were amazing. Metro stop at the end of the block was very convenient. The apartment is off the street in a quiet building behind a secure, historic carriage gate. You'll love it!

Piko is very accommodating and an amazing host. We were greeted with fresh flowers, croissants and wine. This apartment is the best equipped of any we have rented. It is very quiet in spite of the location on a busy street. You walk off the street through a quiet courtyard to get to the apartment. Piko was great to work with and accommodated our arrival and departure schedule. There is absolutely everything you need in the apartment. We loved the folder with all the recommendations and even found some new favorites. The apartment is very close to the Bastille metro and the famous Bastille market on sundays and thursdays. Clean, spacious apartment in great location + kind attentive host

We spent two weeks in this apartment and loved it. It's located on a busy street but you would never know that from inside the apartment. Piko arranged for a car service to pick us up from the airport -- our driver, Stephane, was friendly and funny and all around excellent! Piko met us at the apartment and showed us everything we needed to know and left us with some welcome baguettes, wine, and flowers - thoughtful! Throughout our stay, she was responsive and helpful. The apartment is spotless and spacious and had pretty much everything we needed. It is located a block from the metro and in the midst of shops and restaurants. Yet the apartment is perfectly quiet as it faces an inner courtyard off the busy street. My family of three fit very comfortably in this apartment. We highly recommend the apartment and Piko, our host!! Hope to come back :)
