Amazing Location in Historic Building. What a gorgeous building in a perfect neighborhood. Perfect spot on the Left Bank to explore and eat. Close to everything. Wonderful Stay in Paris!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Francois' apartment in St. Michel, Paris. The location was very convenient and next to all major sites including the metro. The apartment was quiet and well supplied. The beds were very comfortable too. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed at this property for 4 nights in Sept., 2025. It was the perfect location as it was literally a few minutes walk to Notre Dame and Saint Chapelle and even closer to an abundance of tasty bakeries and cafes. The apartment was well furnished. What we liked most of all was that it was so very QUIET! Despite being so close to so much activity, we never heard outside noise. The bed was super comfortable. Jeff was very responsive to our emails. We had a minor issue arise which was quickly addressed and resolved by Elizabeth. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Perfect Location

The apartment was perfect for our trip. It was well stocked, quiet, and in a great neighborhood with loads of dining options nearby, a few metro stations very close, and the owner was very helpful throughout. It made a great home away from home.

Quiet, cosy apartment in the heart of Paris

Loved staying here. Everything you need and the decor was just lovely. Great communication and instruction by the host. Quiet, secure accommodation down a gorgeous cobbled street, but right in the heart of the action too. Kitchen and washing machine/dryer were a big plus. The loft was something a bit different for teenagers.

This apartment is in a fantastic location - a very short walk to Notre Dame and the Metro. Our family of 4 stayed here and although it was a little snug, the great location was worth it! The host was very easy to deal with and very communicative. Check in was a breeze. It was a great choice for us.

Perfect location in Paris

The property was clean and well equipped. Overall, it was perfect for our visit. We were able to walk to Notre Dame and the Louvre quickly and were a short walk to a couple of different metro stops. Thank you to Jeff and Elizabeth. They made the process quite easy.

Wonderful experience! great location! We felt safe and it was clean and perfect for our stay. We slept 5 (three kiddos) perfectly. Lots of shopping and food nearby. Metro stops galore. Go to St, Andre cafe for dinner! Love it. We will be back.

Paris with teens

Location! Location! Location! This apartment was located in a great area with access to various metro/bus/RER options. There were several places to grab food and drinks. The bathroom has a step up shower which could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues or older adults. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay and visit to Paris!

Everything you could need in the Perfect location

It was our first time in Paris and the location was perfect for our walks around the City, every touristic place is easy to get by walk, metro or bus. The apartment has all you could need, fully equipment kitchen, comfortable matres in all the beds. Hot water always. It is and old building, very French, very charm, and the apartment totally renewed. We really loved Paris and Jean appartment. Elizabeth was also,very nice with us. Thank you!

Great apartment, location, and host!

This apartment was perfect for our first time in Paris - communication with the host was fast and clear every time. We felt safe with the gate that required a code. The apartment itself was the perfect size for 3 friends, we all had our own bed (1 king, 2 twins beds). The kitchen was updated and had everything we needed! A huge bonus was having a washer and dryer, the host also provided laundry detergent for us to use. Overall location was perfect - a 2 min walk to the metro, tons of trendy restaurants and cafes in walking distance, and very safe! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Paris!

Simply the Best - Exceeded all Expectations

We had very high expectations for our trip to Paris - I spent the year(s) of COVID quarantine planning and dreaming and researching this trip. The apartment exceeded all of my ridiculously high expectations! The host was friendly, accessible, and so helpful. The space was clean and just perfect for our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids, 9 and 14). We were all comfortable, so much more spacious than any Parisian hotel. No complaints - not even from the teenager!) I loved the gorgeous French windows and my husband loved coming back after a day of taking in the city to be greeted by all the comforts of home (read: air conditioning and refrigerator). Can not beat the location, central to all the metro lines. The boulangerie we loved most was right around the corner (Liberte), 5 min walk to the Seine, Notre Dam, tons of places to eat (quickly or sit down), markets, Shakespeare and company. A real hidden gem. If you're deep in the throes of research, trust that this is the place.

Excellent location!!

Location, location, location!! This is very close to both the RER and metro, making getting around the city as easy as possible. There are lots of stores, restaurants, etc very close by. There is a "skeleton" front door to the entire apartment complex, for which the #11 is not lit up, so we had some trouble finding the place in the middle of the night. We also didn't have wi-fi, and didn't have the skeleton door code, so it made check in a little tricky. For non-Parisians, I think this process could have been a little more clearly explained. I kept wandering around looking for a green door. Also, all the towels smelled of cigarettes, which was tough for me. The place is small, so be mindful of that if you're traveling with all girls like we were. Also, there's a space air conditioner, but it doesn't really work, and it's not possible to open the windows/use the fan as people often were in the courtyard smoking. Overall, it was an adequate stay.

Host had great response time an always answered any questions before I asked. Place was very convenient to metro, bus, tram, restaurant, Nortre Dame, and drinking/dining areas. Clear directions from arriving by train to step by step keypad entrance information. 4 women in our group an shower was hot for all of us an enough towels! Small but everything was in Paris compared to the U.S. only negative was Friday night the upstairs neighbors had a party an was very loud. Standing outside our windows smoking an dropping bottles inside recycle. Also-sounded like they were dropping a bag of bottles right above the bedding area 10xs in a row, seemed intentional. The quiet hours did not apply that night. That’s not the owners fault, so overall would stay again.

We cannot recommend this rental enough! First of all it’s an Ideal location. The neighborhood is charming and the apartment is cozy and exceeded all our needs. My two teenage sons loved the loft. Super close to the Metro. We walked to all the museums and Notre Dame. Close to shopping and most importantly…so many superb restaurants, bakeries, cafes within walking distance. The host, Jean, answered a ton of our questions very quickly. He saved the day by helping us navigate the train to Lille to see a football match. Don’t hesitate, book this rental immediately!!!

Great place close to metros, food and easy to get anywhere

A great place to stay for our family of four. Quiet safe apartment that we used as a base to explore Paris. Walk to Notre Dam and the Louvre and into town city center easily. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need and plenty of supermarkets to choose from. Restaurants and bars everywhere in the area. Thoroughly recommend it and would stay again.

My parents bought this apartment in 1961. I've lived in it during my studies and had the opportunity to experience some of the best years of my life in this neighborhood. I now share my live between my home in Paris and the U.S working in real estate. I love animals and small well-behaved doggies are welcome in the apartment.

Why they chose this property

It really is a 'secret' place in the heart of the city. The building was erected around 1760. Some original features in the apartment date back to the construction days, such as an old wooden beam on which a carpenter practiced his talent. When the windows are open, you can hear the bells of Notre-Dame in the distance.
A security safe in the wall is available.

What makes this property unique

Just so central.
You can get anywhere in a matter of minutes.
The architect who designed the Louvre pyramid lived in this building two floors above while the works were in progress.
