All the conveniences of home with a fully updated kitchen, washer, dryer and outdoor grill. New mini splits for heat and A/C in every bdrm and one in kitchen. Fenced in backyard with deck. 2 car garage and driveway. Only 1 block from the St. Lawrence River and a 5 minute walk to Clayton's quaint village shops, restaurants and public docks.

The host was wonderful and we were able to get into the house a few hours early. The house is very comfortable and in a super location. We could walk to everything. We enjoyed the back deck as well. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and there seemed to be flowers everywhere!

The house is exactly as listed! The kitchen is spacious with everything you need. The backyard is the best! It’s huge and it being fenced in was a major plus. The house is decorated very nicely too and has everything you need like laundry and dish detergent, spices, first aid kit, toiletries etc…Communicating with the host was easy too, she got back to me right away about everything and even allowed us to check in early. Wonderful stay, hoping to go back again next year.

Punkin Chunkin weekend

We had the wonderful pleasure of booking a fun weekend away with family for the annual Punkin Chunkin In Clayton NY. We anticipated several out of town family members whom most stayed with our mother. So refreshing to find a host that was very accommodating to us including our new puppy. The house was on the street that I grew up on and remember the house vividly. The beautiful older home has many beautiful upgrades and a welcoming back porch with enclosed fence that was a bonus to us. I would highly recommend this beautiful home in Clayton. The check in instructions we very simple as well as the check out. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in the village. Kid friendly.

We enjoyed our stay in Clayton, house is large and accommodated our needs. close to downtown, within walking distance. Natalia responded to our needs immediately. I myself would have like more kitchen space to prepare and cook meals. a dishwasher would be a nice addition for future upgrades.

Lovely house on a quiet street and very handy to everything.

Very comfortable, well-maintained house. The owner was pleasant (by email - we didn't get to meet her) and accommodating to our needs. The house is sparsely but adequately furnished. It was great to be right in town and able to walk almost everywhere we went, but still to be in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

Cute Home in a Cute Town

We spent a long weekend at the end of September to celebrate a family event. The home was perfect for our needs. The home is in town, and easily accessible to the shops and restaurants by walking or car. The home has 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, with a pullout futon on the first floor easily sleeping 8 persons. The home was well furnished and the kitchen well stocked. Kitchen was large and it was easy to prepare meals. The home has excellent WiFi. There is a large outdoor gas grill for those who like to barbecue. We were able to fit the family in a bright and airy dinning room. The living room and adjacent porch were comfortable and pleasant. The home has a full size washer and dryer. The biggest knock would be lack of a dishwasher, however being on vacation and doing a significant portion of our eating out, a few breakfast dishes were easily cleaned and put away. In summary, a lovely home that I would willingly rent again. PS - Natalia was extremely responsive and available for all of our questions and needs.

I grew up in Clayton and since have moved and live in NYC where I met my husband Kyle. He grew up in a military family and lived all over the country and even parts of the world. Once he came up to the 1000 Islands he was hooked.

Why they chose this property

Summer time in the 1000 Islands is really one of a kind. My husband and I were fortunate enough to purchase this home the Summer of 2016 so we have a place to visit family and friends and rent out while we are not in Clayton to share this beautiful gem of a town with others. The yard & deck were honestly the first thing that drew us in. So much space to BBQ and enjoy some R&R! The inside of the house has enough room to fit your closest friends and family comfortably and lastly it is perfectly located to walk down for a dinner/drink or grab an ice cream and watch the sunset riverside.
