Lovely base for our trip to York.

Lovely base for our trip to York. Peaceful location set back a wee bit from Tadcaster Road, and easy access to public transport for the city centre, railway station etc.

This property was a very nice place in York on private gated grounds. Convenient grocery nearby, and bus service right across the street. We loved everything about this cozy place. Clean, complete 2-bedroom, full kitchen, bath and shower. Very comfortable, parking easy right in front of the rental, felt safe and secure. Hosts were very attentive and prompt with responses. We are traveling around various places in England, and this property has been our very favorite!

Location is great - ideal for the racecourse, easy to walk into the city centre (30 mins approx, less of you walk quicker), or use any of the many service buses that pass down Tadcaster rd. Instructions given to find and access were very clear and easy to follow. The Nest was clean and comfortable, with all amenities provided. The kitchen in particular is a good size and well equipped.

We had a lovely week in The Nest.

We had a lovely week in The Nest. An amazing position and great area for York and beyond. The cottage is comfortable and cosy. The stairs are quite steep and could have done with another hand rail all the way up as there is a turn at the top which my elderly mother found difficult to manoeuvre. However this would not stop us returning. Kitchen had all we needed.Highly recommend.
