Great location . Basic accommodation which met our needs for one night . For some reason we were charged an extra 20 for an additional guest but VRBO states it accommodated for 6, it’s a 3 bed property .

We really enjoyed our stay in York and loved having a lovely three-bedroom house as a base for our trip. The location was great for exploring this beautiful city, and we made some wonderful memories together. A few little things worth mentioning for future guests: the bathroom is a little dated, there isn’t a fan in the house, and the winter-weight quilts were quite warm for a summer stay. Also, if you’re walking into the city centre, just be mindful of the cobblestones — they can be tricky to navigate!Overall, we had a lovely time in York and really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for having us!

Close to tow n just 15 min walk . The stairs were very steep with a short tread so it was difficult to get up and down . I would say it is not suitable for older people and young children . The dining table was very wobbly . so that needs some attention . Well equipped , every thing you might need and comfortable . 3 large bedrooms although we only used two as 1 of our friends couldn’t use the stairs , so slept on the sofa . We only stayed 1 night .
