Paignton in the Sun

Property in ideal place with nice view of harbour and sea. Nice beaches and walks with dog. Mollys bar fantastic food and drink reasonably priced and fantastic evening entertainment

Short stay at Quayside

Every thing about it is top quality. There is no smell from the Chinese takeaway downstairs and their food is delicious. The views are fantastic. Could not fault this accommodation and can't wait to return

Excellent holiday accommodation

Apartment is clean, modern and comfortable with spectacular views across the harbour. The location is within walking distance to all the amenities in Paignton and ideally located to visit Brixham and Torquay. Having been 3 times to this apartment already, we would happily visit here every year, but unfortunately the annual price increases will make us look elsewhere. There isn’t a lot of space to hang clothes if the apartment is full to capacity.

Not Quite Luxury!

We enjoyed our stay in Paignton, The Apartment was lovely but unfortunately we had concerns with cleaning & CCTV , Considering they charge £110 for professional cleaners when we arrived the large rug in the lounge was filthy!! So i immediately think that the last guest paid this amount of money £110 for them to clean prior to the nxt guests arriving! Not Luxury. Cushions would be nice to sit on rather than hard wooden old furniture outside/ kitchen!! Not Luxury!! Our other concern is the CCTV on the terrace, this is totally unacceptable and we felt that we were being perved on continuously. My overall experience was that this apartment all be it nice was overpriced and definitely not Luxury as they advertise. Fresh Escapes say the cctv has to stay ! But said they would look into my other concerns. We would love to return here but only if the CCTV has been removed.

We sincerely apologise for the concerns you raised regarding the cleanliness and the CCTV on the terrace. However, it is such as shame this was not raised at the start of your stay when we write to you on the first evening to ask if everything is ok and unfortunately we did not hear back from you. This would have given us the opportunity to address any stains that were present on the carpet. However, we do understand your disappointment with the cleanliness of the rug in the lounge and the lack of cushions for added comfort. Your feedback regarding the furnishings has been duly noted, and we will work on improving these aspects to better align with the luxury experience we aim to provide. Regarding the CCTV on the terrace, we apologise for any discomfort this may have caused you. We take your privacy and security seriously. However, we do advertise that the CCTV camera is only accessed for insurance purposes in the event there is an accident on the front terrace. This was a pre-requisite from the Owners insurance company. We appreciate your valuable feedback, as it helps us identify areas for improvement. We hope that if you decide to return, the issues you raised will have been addressed to your satisfaction. Great property for exploring south devon

Lovely apartment with great views over harbour. Great location for exploring south Devon. Lots of room for a family, there where only four of us but could easily accommodate six. Furnished to a high standard. The Prosecco in the fridge to welcome us was a lovely gesture and welcome after kids in bed.
