A comfortable cottage with good-sized rooms and a lovely garden. 15 mins walk from a great beach and a short drive from outstanding beaches like Freshwater.
Perfect cottage for the family of 5 adults and 1 baby (could easily accommodate more than that!)Spotlessly clean and a perfect charming Welsh stone cottage, equipped with everything and more to make our week go smoothly (wish it was more than the 1 week). Jo was the perfect host with seamless communication. Angle is a perfect bolt hole away from the urban hustle, with 2 pubs in walking distance. West Angle Bay beach is a perfect family beach with gentle sloping sand leading to crystal clear waters, with plenty of rock pools to explore at low tide, a great little cafe that does amazingly good sandwiches and cake , the car park has plenty of room (if you have to much stuff to make the 10-15 min walk) plus toilet facilities if needed. If you want more surf then Fresh Water West is about 10min drive away , plus Dobbys grave site to make pilgrimage to if you are a Harry Potter fan. Can’t wait to return!

Thank you for your lovely review. We're so pleased to hear that you all enjoyed your stay and we will look forward to hosting you again in the future!
We have just had a lovely four day stay at the cottage. It’s a really special place - the cottage itself is faultless, the location was perfect, our absolutely favourite things were the many beaches we discovered and explored. Our dog Gus was definitely living his best life! Jo was great to deal and the whole process was great.

Bluebell Cottage is a wonderful peaceful well equipped cottage in Angle, Pembrokeshire. We had a fantastic time and were able to walk some of the Pembrokeshire coastal path. The weather was mild and warm. A great visit. Thank you.

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and found the cottage to have everything you needed. Autumn is a great time to explore the coast path - fantastic that you had good weather for it!
We loved our stay at Bluebell cottage in early April (and still quite chilly) - the house is lovely and well-suited for smaller children (stair gate, baby chair, games etc), easy to heat, and the garden was a total hit for sunny afternoons. Super well organised too with instructions on everything you might possibly need, maps for walks in the area etc.
I was initially a bit taken aback when we drove past the oil refinery on our way (it’s quite close to Angle) because I wasn‘t aware of its presence but it’s only really present when heading for East Angle bay. West angle bay is gorgeous and lovely for kids, as it the nearby Freshwater bay. perfect stay overall, we‘d come back in a heartbeat!
This is a great place to stay. There is plenty of space and the facilities make life easy. We loved the area and made good use of the garden and the kitchen. The place was spotless and the huge roll top bath felt like a luxury at the end of each day. We could not fathom the dvd player but everything else worked perfectly. We took our labradoodle and the cool granite floors were perfect for him as were the beach and local coastal walks. Both local pubs were friendly and the dog was welcomed with open arms. We had a thoroughly lovely and relaxed holiday - thank you. Penny, Andy and Ziggy.
Just returned for a fabulous 2 weeks in Bluebell Cottage. The cottage is beautiful, full of character. We were really blessed with the weather so were able to take full advantage of the garden. The area is so peaceful, the local people so friendly. The pub is just down the road and very welcoming. The food served is pub grub, for a more special dining experience we went a few times to the ‘the old point’ which is about a 10min walk. Cooked in most days and the kitchen was well equipped. The beach is a 10min walk and is beautiful, the cafe at the beach does a fabulous lunch and cakes. The Coastal walk from the beach to the old point is gorgeous.
Communication with Jo faultless. Plenty of parking outside.
Was sad to leave, would return in a heartbeat.

Thank you for your lovely review. We're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Bluebell Cottage and that you were lucky enough with the weather to be able to fully explore the local area. Do visit us again!
Myself and my family stayed in Bluebell cottage for a long weekend to celebrate my mum's birthday. The house is lovely, clean and cosy, it had everything we needed. Jo was really helpful, and provided lots of information on local spots to visit - there's so much to explore. West Angle beach is nearby, with great rock pools and top notch crab lining in the secret lagoon.
We absolutely loved our visit to Angle - we'll definitely be back!
Thank you Jo!
Lovely property with outdoor space. Near West Angle beach. We visited slightly out of season and it was very peaceful. Near Pub which served good food.
Well located for Pembrokeshire coastal path. Listing information all accurate. Cottage cosy & well appointed. Beautiful beaches nearby & many places to visit, great base for walking.

About the host
Hosted by Jo
We are a family with 2 young children. We fell in love with Angle the first time we visited and can't believe our luck at having found the perfect traditional cottage in which to spend our holidays and to share with others. We are at our happiest on West Angle Bay beach on a sunny day with a delicious coffee from Wavecrest cafe in hand and a generous scoop of ice cream for the kids!
Why they chose this property
We have been coming to this area on holiday for years. It has a huge choice of stunning beaches, coastal walks, historic castles, attractions and activities for all ages, without the crowds of Devon or Cornwall.
Tucked away at the end of the Angle peninsula, Angle village feels a world away. It is incredibly peaceful and offers a fabulous beach, spectacular coastal walks and two great pubs, including The Old Point House which has recently been taken over by the team at the award-winning Paternoster Farm.
What makes this property unique
Bluebell Cottage has loads of traditional features, yet is full of modern amenities suitable for families. It is characterful and cosy, especially with the woodburning stove lit in the cooler months. And we enjoy spending Summer days in the pretty, spacious private garden.
