This little house is lovely. We were just two, but perfectly great for four too.All the facilities are great with a lot of attention to detail. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a delightful location short drive from centre Barnard Castle Well equipped . bathroom and bedrooms good size. A party of 4 adults may find the living space a bit of a squeeze for eating in

Very nice little place.If there waa downside, the car charger (great idea) needed yet another app which wouldn't work - not the fault of the property but something to be aware of (there are rapid chargers at Lidl 2miles away).

Absolutely beautiful little character cottage. Plenty of garden for the dogs, although not enclosed.The cottage was very well equipped with lovely furnishings.

Lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful area . We would love to return another day. Was convenient for us having our daughter living around the corner. Purpose of our vist was to meet our first granddaughter, But Barnard Castle is worth a visit also the Bows museum, also enjoyed a visit to see kynren, and lovely farm shop mainsgill, all worth a see if you are visiting. Lovely country walk by the river too.Thank you

Cottage was lovely, clean and had everything we needed, the only thing we found was the double bed was too small for us, didnt have a great sleep, so moved into the other room the 2nd night. Location was good, 20 mins walk to nearest pub.

Lovely cottage, very, snug and warm and comfortable, set in a beautiful and peaceful location with plenty of car parking space. Diane was an excellent host leaving us some nice goodies, a great information pack and some very useful local information.

Words can't express how we enjoyed our stay in this property, the views were really good even though it was farmland. The property it's self was very clean and organised. I would certainly book this accommodation again.

Wonderful base to explore the area from

A lovely little place with a good-sized, well fenced in garden your dog can use. A mile or so outside Barnard Castle itself, with a convenient footpath walk in and ready access to the rest of the area.

Can't wait to return

This is a gorgeous little property. We met Diane as we arrived, she was so lovely and accommodating (nice little touch was the biscuits and doggy treats. The bedrooms were warm and comfortable, the kitchen/living area was small but well equipped (no cooking on holiday!). We will certainly go back to The Bothy next time we are in the area.
