Welcome to Ocean Villa 2006!

If relaxing with stunning views of the beach and the sound of the surf are what you’re looking forward to, then this is the condo for you! This beachfront condo is located on the 20th floor of Ocean Villa and has unobstructed 180 degree views of the world renowned Emerald Coast. With an oversized balcony, you can enjoy your morning coffee with a view, as well as evening drinks, while you take in gorgeous sunsets or watch the storms roll in. I’ve even seen end-to-end double rainbows from this vantage point! There are lots of kid-friendly attractions and restaurants nearby, or, head down to one of the three pools, Jacuzzi, or the beach, via a private gate with direct beach access. The unit is spacious, with two bedrooms, each with en suite full bathrooms, and a sleeper sofa – the condo sleeps a total of six.

What I Liked

Beautiful beach and loved the sound of the Gulf at night. Would be so much better without the odor of weed being smoked everywhere and wafting into our rental unit. Traffic noise pretty loud late into the night. Lounge chairs on the patio would be nice too.

What can I say? Beautiful, immaculate, great location, quiet at night. We had a wonderful time. Kitchen complete with full amenities. The furnishings were regal. Just a Beautiful property and comfortable stay. Magnificent views with huge balcony. I would definitely want to stay here when I return. Thank you so much

Absolutely beautiful

This was such a great place to stay. The beach is so beautiful and the condo is really nice. 2 pools and a huge hot tub. the unit was perfect. It was spotless, seriously, no kidding, spotless. The leather couches were very nice and comfortable, even the beds were comfortable. loved it all. We will definitely be staying here again. Not crowded at all and never had to wait on the elevator. Our unit was upgraded and it was lovely. Thanks for a great week.

Best Family Vacation Ever

We had a wonderful time. The condo was exactly as promised. Our check in time wasn't until 4pm but I made them aware we would be in Friday staying with friends; we received a text at 1:30pm stating our condo was ready early. We had no problems at all just relaxing on beach and enjoying our grandchildren. Thank you for a wonderful we definitely will be back staying at this same location.

Early code

I received a code to enter condo 5 minutes before my check in at 4:00. The code they gave me to open condo did not work, only the early check in code worked for the entire trip. I sent a message with no response

We enjoyed the property, but there were some problems. I tried to call about them, and left a message, but no one called back. Usually got message that it was after hours. I do not think it is a good policy to only have one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, i have never stayed anywhere that did not supply toilet paper.

Unsatisfied, horrible rude service.

We called the service number provided, left messages. Three full days later we received a return phone call. Then we were called basic liars because we voiced our opinion of how dirty the condo was. When we arrived on time for check-in we found a maintenance man working on the room he was doing caulking around the bath tub. The couch was so filthy dirty with gray oily spots on it that I wouldn’t even sit on it. Which really didn’t matter because the tv didn’t work either. Bathtub looked like it was never cleaned. The customer sevrvice person we spoke with said “you are the type of clients that can’t be pleased” also said she personally took the call as a personal attack” because she had been in that room just the day before. Well on her she’s not the type of customer service representative any company should have. It’s not personal it’s suppose to be take care of the customer. We have been coming to the area for 25 years for vacations, this one is the first one we had to complain about. So that being said in my opinion being told that nothing will be done to even try to make this experience right, WE WONT BE BACK.

Overall great place with great views. Very clean. Only issue we had was not great communication. We had issues with the door locking. We called several times including the after-hours line where we were directed to leave a message with a back expected. We never heard anything from anyone. So we went the entire week with our door not locking. We were also never given clear instructions on parking. So when we first arrived we were confused. Thankfully we saw another guest who directed us where to park.

Beach get away

Great trip! Surprised by Thunder Beach weekend. Never been to Panama City and I’ve never heard of this. It was interesting. Really enjoyed the airshow on Saturday and Sunday with the Thunderbirds! I would come back but not during thunder beach.

Family vacation

We had a great time. The condo had everything we needed. This property has 3 elevators which we loved not having to wait!!! Parking was tight in the condo garage but no issues finding parking the lot across the street!!! Great times!!!!Thank you so much Ocean Villas. We will be back!!!

Nice but could be better

The area is nice, beach is phenomenal, lots to do, close by Walmart and restaurants. The property manager misinformed me stating that there is no beach chairs/beach necessities. Also told me there isn’t an iron or ironing board. There were some beach chairs, boogie boards as well as the iron and ironing board that I unnecessarily packed. The place itself needs a deep clean. The baseboards are covered in dust and are very dirty. The main entrance door needs to be replaced. It is very dirty and beat up. When there was wind, the door was moving and making a loud banging sound as if someone was knocking on the door. Washer destroyed my clothes and towels. Towels came out soaked out of the washer, had to repeat spin cycle a few times. Dryer doesn’t dry at all. Had to restart the cycle about 4 times for clothes and about 10 times for towels. Refrigerator is all rusty, very old! Doesn’t cool very well. Dishwasher and oven worked well but could use an upgrade. Overall the place was ok, could use a few upgrades and a deep clean then I’d give it 5 stars!

Good stay

Over all it was a good place to stay at. We didn't have enough towels and only one toilet paper roll per bath room and the refrigerator didn’t cool our cold foods and drink too good but over all the place was fairly clean.
