This little Casita is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Bob and Mary are great hosts and go the extra mile to make their guests comfortable.

Beautiful spot with a great parking spot for our camper van. Mary was very helpful and responsive. Will stay here again if in the area. Close enough to Santa Fe to do things but far enough away till be out of the crowds.

Comfortable and beautiful retreat
We had a wonderful time at Casita Manzana. In town for work conference at the casino hotel nearby, and wanted to get away for a few days after to work in a beautiful environment with a nice view. That’s exactly what we got! Bob was very nice and accommodating. Oh, and thankfully the Wi-Fi signal was very reliable because we really needed to get work done and we had no trouble at all! We took walks around the area, made fires, and woke up with the sun. Great find!

Lovely vacation!
We had a great time at Casita Manzana. We came in late but with the detailed directions given by Mary and Bob we were able to find the casita without any issues. Bob greeted us when we drove up. He even turned on fancy lights in the green house to greet my daughter (she noticed right away!). Bob showed us around the casita which was nice and warm for a cold evening. The kitchen is small but well appointed. We were able to borrow a pasta pot and crockpot from Bob which was very kind and made cooking even easier. The bed and futon were both comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit outside very much! It was great to sit and chat with Bob, he has many in town recommendations and is knowledgeable about the area. He even took out his droid to show us the area which was awesome! He was a great host! We will definitely be back!
One suggestion to help with sleeping in a bit on the futon would be black out curtains.
Only regret - we weren't able to meet Mary this trip. We will be back to make sure we can meet her as well. Best HomeAway hosts ever! Thank you!!!

Thank you for the kind words. Glad your family enjoyed themselves during your stay at Casa Manzana. You are welcome back any time!
Save travels,
-Bob (& Mary)
Our short 3 night stay at Casa Manzana definitely left us reluctant to leave. The property is lovely, the sunsets can't be beat, and the proximity to Santa Fe was just enough to get away. The owners were prompt and helpful as well. I look forward to returning in the future!
The stay was perfection. The location was more than charming and so convenient, the cleanliness was stellar, and the detail and thought for the accommodations for guests were remarkable. Casa Manzana was truly like having a home away from home. I did not want to leave and I WILL be back. Oh, and for those of you who are a scary cat like me, I thought I might struggle with the solidarity in the vineyards. I could not have felt safer and at peace. It made me want to move there. Bob & Mary - you outdid yourselves and I thank you so much for the experience and much-needed time away. I will see you next year. Great blessings to you both!!!
A little difficult to find...roads are basically dirt when accessing property...mosquito abatement is definitely needed! Other than that, stay was as Bob described it would be. Casita was clean & comfortable and quiet.
Bob gave us good insights to the area.
Casa Manzana was absolutely perfect and exactly as advertised! We started each day on the patio and enjoyed relaxing evenings at the casita after full days of exploring the area. The location was great for trips into Santa Fe as well as close to hiking opportunities. Bob and Mary are wonderful hosts. They provided not only a beautiful place to stay but great recommendations for activities in the area. Thank you two for a fantastic New Mexico memory.
casita was nice, the owners were terrific. Little off the beaten path but that was a known and we enjoyed the area and some hiking and bicycle riding nearby. We'd go back for sure.
The property was comfortable, with every appliance or amenity one could need. Ample kitchen, and nice cabin like furnishings. Was about 18 miles from Santa Fe Plaza, which is not too convenient, but being three miles on the High Road to Taos and very close to Chamayo has advantage.
This was a peaceful and delightful place for a short vacation near Santa Fe. The owners were very kind, and the casita had a lot of charm. It was exactly what I wanted to help recharge.
We enjoyed our stay, the location was close to hiking and parks.
The area is remote and quiet., yet was easy to access highway to restaurants and groceries.
We needed to be in Santa Fe for a surgical procedure rather than for pleasure. Our stay here provided a much needed respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. The tranquility and peace permeating your vineyard provided a calming effect and helped keep us grounded. Will definitely visit again when we can relax and fully appreciate the beauty of your area.
We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay at Casita Manzana! The casita was just the right size for the two of us. The kitchen was well stocked, very clean and in an amazing location. We enjoyed time outside reading and enjoying early spring weather. This is a great location for exploring the area, close enough to everywhere we wanted to go, but far enough to feel like we were in the country! The bottle of wine was a perfect touch in such sweet accomodation!

Thank you for such a glowing Review. Glad you enjoyed your stay at Casa Manzana. Hope you can visit us again. -Bob & Mary
Can't think of a better place to explore the area!
Casa Manzana made our trip to New Mexico even more enjoyable. Great location for day trips, the house is fully equipped, it's cosy, has amazing views, the patio is perfect for breakfast or evenings by the fire and Bob and Mary are amazing hosts! Bob gave us some great tips to explore the area. No doubt that I will stay there next time I am in NM!
Bob/Mary were GREAT hosts! The Casita is charming and very well stocked, especially appreciate the cooking basics like sugar, oil, S&P, etc! Bob was very responsive to any question/concern we had, even providing a plug in router so that I could directly plug in my work computer.
We enjoyed the patio/firepit, grilled steaks we bought at the Farmer's Market...hiked the Badlands, Nambe Falls, did day trips to Los Alamos, Bandelier, Ojo Caliente, River Gorge, Taos and multiple trips into Santa Fe.
The property was quiet, beautiful star gazing. We knew it was outside of Santa Fe- allow 30 min to drive to the Plaza with traffic. It is rural but not out in the country- it's in the middle of a rural neighborhood with all properties fenced as is typical of NM. It's easy to run to grocery store for anything you need.
Highly recommend Gabriel's and El Parasol which are both close.
My husband set up in the bedroom and I worked in the mainroom. no issues.
The perfect home base for day trips to Santa Fe, Ghost Ranch, and Bandelier. Quiet and peaceful with lovely sunsets and great star gazing at night. The casita is charming and homey and the host was very welcoming. Would definitely stay again!
It is a perfect location. It restful, but close to Santa Fe and other places. for a visit.
We really enjoyed our 6 nights we stayed there. It is a good VRBO property. It really cooled down after sunset. We felt felt very safe during our stay.
