Wir haben viel Erfahrung mit Ferienhäusern und hatten selten ein dermaßen nettes und hilfsbereites Vermieter-Ehepaar. Man hat uns sehr viel Unterstützung angeboten, da eine Ätna-Aktivität unseren Abflugtermin gefährdet hatte. Das Haus ist wunderbar. Man genießt den wunderbaren Ausblick von zwei Terassen. Wir wünschen dem Vermieter alles Gute!The couple who owns the rental property were exceptionally kind and very helpful. They offered us a great deal of support, because some volcanic activity at Mount Etna may had have impacts to our scheduled flight at Catania. The house itself is wonderful. The view from two terraces to landscape is wonderful.We wish the owners all the best!

Sizilien von seiner schönsten Seite

Bereits die Kommunikation vor der Anreise mit dem Vermieter Herrn Marcedone war sehr angenehm und zuvorkommend. Auf meine Bitte hat er uns sehr detaillierte Hintergrundinformationen z. B. zu den Wandermöglichkeiten im Cavagrande Tal gegeben, die sehr hilfreich waren. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig geschnitten, mit zwei Bädern und mehreren Terrassen. Besonders die obere hat mit ihrem tollen Ausblick auf das Meer und die Berge des Cavagrande del Cassiblie für ein 'Frühstück unter Palmen' beeindruckt. Hervorzuheben ist auch die Lage in Strandnähe, der in nur wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen ist. Das Wasser besticht durch seine Klarheit und ist aufgrund seines flachen Untergrunds besonderes für Kinder geeignet. Zudem wird es durch Quellen im Meeresuntergrund gekühlt und erfrischt, was auch die hellblaue Farbe erklärt. Das Strandequipment wie Handtücher und Schirm stellt der Hausherr ebenfalls zur Verfügung. 2 kleine Supermärkte, einer mit frischem Obst und Gemüse sowie Restaurants und Bistros sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Wer ohne Mietauto auskommen kann, dem steht die Eisenbahn für Ausflüge nach Syrakus (Siracusa) mit seinen antiken Stätten und der malerischen Altstadt auf der Insel Ortigia oder nach Noto, Avola und Ragusa zur Verfügung, wo man den Sizilianischen Barock bewundern kann. Den Bahnhof erreicht man in 10 Gehminuten. Mit der App von Trenitalia (auch in Deutsch oder anderen Sprachen) lässt sich der Ausflug planen und das Ticket bequem lösen. Ich möchte mich bei Christoph und seiner Frau für diese schöne und ausführliche Rezension bedanken. Sie waren besondere Gäste. Es schien fast eine Herausforderung zu sein, sich zu verständigen, da ich kein Deutsch kann und einen Übersetzer benutzen musste, aber ich muss sagen, dass es manchmal nicht unbedingt notwendig ist, gut sprechen zu können, um sich gegenseitig und die Qualität der Menschen zu verstehen. Sie sind sehr angenehme Menschen, und ihr freundliches Verhalten hat mir die Arbeit als Gastgeberin leicht gemacht. Ich würde diese nette Familie also jedem Gastgeber empfehlen, der sie aufnehmen möchte.
