Stresa

This property was excellent. Good location to the town only 15 mins walk. As the property is up slightly from the main road it takes a few minutes longer on the way back. However as we were attending a wedding and my wife was wearing high heels the host kindly ran us into town. The weather during our stay was very hot however our accommodation remained cool. Overall we would recommend this property to stay in and if for longer stays the kitchen is well equipped.

It was a large apartment and incredibly well resourced. Just about everything one could need in the kitchen bathroom and utility, all of which were modern and looked brand new. The living room was enormous. As was the bedroom with a very comfortable bed. It was very well placed for Stresa, with a 10min walk downhill to the Lido. Parking was conveniently nearby. The biggest disappointment was the garden. From the description we expected to be able to walk out into the garden and eat. The garden was pretty but a mosquito nightmare. The table and chairs under the pergola looked very comfortable. Some of the garden pictures described as 'at the property' we never found. To get to it we had to leave the apartment, walk through the garage, past the bins and up some steps. We had chosen the apartment for the garden but instead we ate indoors. It was in excess of 36C during our week and the 2 fans did little to cool the rooms down after cooking dinner. We enjoyed our time in Stresa and Fiametta was lovely, but being unable to eat outside in the evening was a disappointment.

On recommande!

Große Wohnung in guter Lage

Entspannter Aufenthalt in wunderschöner Umgebung

Perfecte locatie

Delightful Italian Apartment

We loved staying in this cosy, lovely Italian apartment. The garden was great and we enjoyed spending every morning there eating breakfast. The location is great (just a 15 minute walk from Stresa centre) and the view from the kitchen was just amazing Overlooking the lake and seeing the mountains in the distance was just like a painting.
