Beautiful Honeymoon Cottage close to Manchester Vermont. {Manchester Center}

Located 6 miles from Manchester Center. Minutes from Bromley and Magic Mountain Ski Centers and within 25 minutes from Stratton and Okemo. Killington and Mount Snow are within a one hour drive. This beautiful hand crafted vacation home overlooks a private trout pond and also sits in the middle of a Bird Sanctuary.

One bedroom hand-hewn barn nestled on brook, overlooking pond. Gourmet kitchen with Blue Star stove & greenhouse window. Free-form deck. Downstairs master bedroom has a Jacuzzi bath & for 2. This is two story cottage with small winding staircase to access downstairs bedroom. Sits on scenic 6 acre pond and provides breathtaking views. Appalachian and Long trail hiking to the top of scenic Bromley mountain accessible right from property. Well behaved pets are welcome but as per house rules we ask they pets are kept off furniture and beds and we do require a $75 pet fee per pet due to multiple issues with dog hair on beds and furniture. When you book you can check the box to add pets and pet fee. No cats are allowed.

Note: Although very rare due to unforeseen circumstances the pond may be partially drained for dam repair. Also, we take guests privacy very serious and we do not have any inside surveillance or televisions with front facing cameras. Swimming in the pond is not recommended because it is a wildlife pond and has Leaches and Beaver from time to time. Fishing is permitted but you may want to purchase a Vermont state fishing license.

Pets are NOT allowed on beds and furniture. A $75 fee per dog is required. Extra cleaning fee will be deducted if pet hair is a problem. $75 per dog.

Perfect property for a couples getaway. It was still warm (mid-September) so regrettably we never had the chance to enjoy either fireplace (living room and bedroom). In a word, romantic.

The house was beautiful and in a great location, definitely would stay again. Everything was very clean and had everything you needed. Manchester is so close with great restaurants and Bromley mountains is minutes away.

The cottage was amazing. When you open the front door you're greeted with wide plank pine flooring, hand hewed beams, barn board walls and beautiful stone fireplaces. The large windows on the back walls lets in an abundance of light. The kitchen is appointed with modern appliances and everything you need to prepare a meal at home. On the lower level is the master suite complete with second fireplace, comfortable queen bed and master bath with jacuzzi jetted tub. French doors open out to the back yard where there is a babbling brook, privacy trees and beyond that a living pond. It truly is a place that gives you the feeling of being on top of a secluded mountain top.The Appalachian Mtn, Long Trail is just minutes down the road as is Bromley Mtn. A visit around charming Manchester Center is must. We really enjoyed our time there celebrating our 50th Anniversary!

The Honeymoon Cottage is adorable and the perfect place to disconnect from the world. The option to have a fire upstairs or downstairs made our stay extra cozy (how many people have wood burning fireplaces in their bedroom in the real world?). The kitchen is well stocked (full set of pots and pans plus a waffle maker and a blender) so one never has to leave but the cottage is located within a few minutes of Manchester where there are a ton of options for dining and shopping. Our visit was truly delightful and we will be back.

Honeymoon cottage is a lovely little cabin. Having been touring New England for 3 weeks we wanted a place to just relax for a few days. Well this place fitted the bill perfectly. It is very comfortable, the weather was just staring to get a bit cooler but with the log fire and the heating it was very cosy. Easy check in and everything you could need.

A Perfect Getaway

Amazing location for those who love the outdoors. Located within steps of the Appalachian and Long trails with a nice hike to the summit of Bromley Mountain. Manchester town center is about a 15 minutes drive. The place is very cute with all of the amenities. Great all around!
