Step outside to access hiking and mountain biking trails on Raptor Lane. You’re also close to the Dorset and Gettysburg quarries and just a few miles from Manchester, known for its upscale dining, shopping, and cultural attractions.


Nearby ski resorts include Bromley, Stratton, and Magic Mountain, with Mount Snow and Killington about an hour away. Enjoy proximity to the Manchester Horse Festival, Southern Vermont Arts Center, historic Hildene, and renowned local theaters in Dorset and Weston.


Outdoor enthusiasts will love the area’s exceptional golf, fly fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, and water activities at Emerald Lake or Lake St. Catherine. Merck Forest, the Catamount Trail, the Appalachian Trail and Vermont’s Long Trail are also nearby.

This place is great and so cozy for a ski weekend. Has everything you need and we will definitely be renting again when we come up. Great location to centers of both Dorset and Manchester, and ski areas. We have stayed in a lot of places in the area and this spot is top of our list.

What a wonderful rental and delightful place to stay! Very cozy and clean and had everything a vacationer needs. The area was peaceful with wonderful views and outdoor areas. Beds were great which is such a plus. Wish I had been there longer to make some fires and relax! Highly recommend!

Easy communication. Well appointed and comfortable. Everything in the apartment was there to make us feel comfortable and at home. Comfortable beds and quiet pleasure taken both inside by the fire and outside with the lovely mountain views. We will be back! A gem found in Dorset Village!
