We have taken great efforts to make this a high quality rental cottage for all of our guest’s enjoyment. Guests are required to treat our home with respect and leave the cottage as it was when you arrived. Due to the quality of furnishings, linens and decorations, we ask all of our guests to take the utmost care and pride when enjoying our home. Any damages will be the responsibility of the guests.

Oceanside Nantucket style cottage at Maushop Village located on sought after Milestone Way! Just steps to the ocean, this beautifully appointed beach cottage is one of the few larger units in the village and has been recently updated and decorated. Enjoy the welcoming first floor showcasing a fully-applianced kitchen with new expanded breakfast island seating open to the living area. The dining area includes a new cottage style table and chairs with a sideboard (stocked with games and LL Bean beach towels). A new fully renovated 1/2 bath, and a newly decorated bedroom with a full size bed completes the first floor.
The second floor includes a master bedroom (king size bed) with full-bath, walk in shower, and washer/dryer. A new iron/board, hair dryer, and new LL Bean bath towels are provided for your convenience. Enjoy peek views of the ocean from the master bedroom and open stairway!
Two large brick patios are accessed from the main level. The front patio welcomes you with a new bistro table, chairs and umbrella set, along with additional seating to enjoy the morning sun. A dining set for 6 with a large umbrella on a semi-private rear patio and new gas grill makes your outdoor dining experience complete.
A mini cooler, beach chairs, beach umbrella, sand toys and new LLBean beach towels make spending time at the beach delightful! If needed, a ceiling fan in the master bedroom help cool things off, along with a portable fan and portable AC unit located in the master bedroom.
New Blu-Ray DVD players and a collection of family movies are yours to enjoy on those days when you care to stay in and relax. Cable TV (in the living room) and Wi-Fi are available for your use.

Enjoy beautiful sunny warm days along with pleasant cool evenings aided by breezes off the Nantucket sound. A short stroll to the water provides views of Nantucket Sound and, on clear nights, glimpses of the lights of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. When you are not taking in the sun at the beach, the multitude of walking trails, bike trails and meandering private roads will add to your enjoyment of this quaint Nantucket style village. You can venture off to neighboring public beaches or simply enjoy our private deeded beach - unique to any of the villages in Cape Cod!

The Marketplace (within walking distance) offers miniature golf, shopping, bike rentals, coffee shop, convenience store, and several casual dining restaurants. Located at the Marketplace is the Raw Bar, voted best in New England for Lobster Rolls! Free live music concerts are enjoyed Thursday through Sunday during the summer season where outside dancing is enjoyed by young and old alike! The famous Mashpee Commons is just a 10 minute drive offering grocery stores, great restaurants, liquor store, shops, bowling, and a movie theater. Falmouth/Woods Hole and Hyannis are just a 25 minute drive away offering additional shops, restaurants, and ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.

The Perfect New England Seaside Getaway

Tom and Laura's beautiful cottage was the perfect place to relax, feel comfortable and feel at home. Everything you could possibly need, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds even comfortable beach chairs! The cottage is also exceptionally clean. It's cozy, it's inviting, it's perfect! Great beach vacation

Great property, just a short walk from a spectacular beach. New Seabury is a beautiful community. We loved the ability to bike to the Marketplace and Popponesset Inn. So relaxing! The unit was lovely, clean and equipped with absolutely everything we might need - plus the owners were extremely welcoming and great to work with.

Another amazing year at Maushop!

This is our fourth year coming to Maushop as adults (I grew up coming with my family) and it did not disappoint. Laura and Tom’s house was beautiful and the perfect spot. Laura and Tom were wonderful hosts, checking in to make sure we were all set, providing chairs and beach toys and plenty of board games, and even a welcome basket. We will certainly be coming back and hopefully staying at this property again!!

Idyllic Spot

First time staying in picturesque Maushop Village which has a Nantucket feel and a scenic beach within an easy walk. It’s a special place. The cottage is charming, very well appointed, and lovingly decorated. Tom and Laura are super responsive owners and sincerely want you to enjoy your visit. We were sad to be leaving today!

Tom and Laura personally greeted us when we arrived and were very helpful with showing us all the amenities of their beach cottage. They were also very helpful with suggestions of where to eat, etc. Our favorite thing about the cottage was the beautiful quintessential Cape Cod decor. The cottage was exceptionally clean and located a very short and beautiful walk away from a private beach. All in all we experienced an amazing week!!

This cottage was absolutely stunning! The location can't be beat -- literally steps from a private beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The cottage looked like something straight out of a magazine. Tom and Laura thought of everything -- down to the smallest detail -- from the boogie boards to small appliances. We had a great vacation and it was a pleasure to come home to this cottage every night. We are already looking at schedules to plan our next trip there!

Stunning beach cottage!

Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom cottage with beach access. Provides everything you need from beach gear, chairs and umbrella. Fully stocked kitchen with gas cooktop and outside gas grill. Portable AC units in the bedrooms were awfully helpful during the heat of August. Owners were super communicators from the time we booked to our check-in, stay and checkout. This was our first experience with VRBO and was super impressed. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet location on the Cape with access to the beach and close proximity to restaurants and the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard.

My Mom, Sister and myself went to Cape Cod for a girls getaway and we created so many lasting memories!! From the beautiful scenery to the amazing food and shopping, it was all topped off because we had this welcoming, beautiful cottage to come home to in the evening. Tom and Laura take great care of their property! Their guests have every comfort of home at their fingertips. We enjoyed ourselves so much it was hard to leave and go back home. Lovely home with great attention to detail

Tom and Laura's property has everything for a great Cape vacation. The location is perfect - there are cute restaurants and shopping within walking distance - and Mashpee Commons with even more dining and shopping is a short drive away. The area is packed with walking and jogging trails and the private beach is a wonderful place to spend time. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood steps from the beach. The cottage is well designed with a master upstairs and a slightly smaller bedroom and half bath downstairs. The kitchen has all the dishes and equipment we needed. There are also beach supplies - sand toys, chairs, large beach towels, an umbrella - everything you want at the beach and don't have room to pack. Excellent, very clean property with great attention to detail.

Wonderful vacation in Maushop!

My family and I just had a lovely stay at Tom and Laura’s beautiful house! The home is lovely and very well appointed. We slept great in comfy beds with AC, enjoyed the beach and had great dinners grilled on the back patio. We just returned from a week's stay at this property, and had the best time! The cottage was thoroughly clean, the beds were comfortable, and there wasn't anything we needed that wasn't already provided in the cottage. Tom and Laura made us feel welcome from the start, and their check-in and check-out process was extremely easy. The beach was a very short walk, as well as the local village with quaint shops, mini golf, a marvelous indoor/outdoor restaurant (The Raw Bar) and a cafe. The cottage is conveniently located for day trips to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. On the back patio we enjoyed coffee in the mornings and a glass of wine in the evenings. It is a peaceful place to relax and unwind. Should we visit Cape Cod again, we would not hesitate to book our stay at this cottage. It was a wonderful vacation!

Amazing Family Vacation!

Our family of 4 had such a wonderful time at the cottage! We were sad to leave for home today. The village is so pretty and the ocean views/beach are breathtaking. The neighbors are friendly and inviting. Tom and Laura are so courteous and thoughtful. The cottage is spotless, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need. A trip to Martha’s Vineyard and a whale watching tour are an absolute must! The ocean water is so warm and the beach is soft and smooth. Overall, a fabulous time was had by all. Our hope is to return soon—this is the best place to stay!

Perfect Vacation in New Seabury

Laura and Tom provided the perfect vacation cottage minutes from the beach. Everything that was listed on VRBO ( walk to the beach … 300 steps or so, cute shops, great places to eat and lots to entertain us for the week) was spot on. Taking the HYLINE to Nantucket was fantastic and an easy commute. We intend on returning to this piece of heaven on earth!!! Tastefully decorated and so comfortable. Thank you!

A perfect stay at 5 Milestone Way

I wish I could give Tom and Laura more than 5 stars for being wonderful hosts! Their communication was outstanding and they could not make you feel more welcome at their beautiful beach cottage. We have stayed in Maushop Village multiple times now and each time have been fortunate to have impeccable and stylish accommodations, and this home was no exception. We always enjoy the private beach, the village market and visiting the surrounding areas, and all are an easy and enjoyable ride from New Seabury including Chatham, Dennis and even Province Town if you are up for a longer trip. This time the weather was not great so we took bikes (rented from Rideaway in Popponesset market) to Martha's Vineyard from nearby Woods Hole and also explored the Mashpee Nature Preserve which is less than 15 minutes away by bike. At the end of our days we loved returning home to our cozy cottage where we enjoyed movie and game nights and casual dinners on the outdoor patio. This was definitely the prettiest and most spacious patio we have had! We had to fly in this time as we moved to Chicago last summer, but Tom and Laura have the cottage so well stocked that we did not have to fret about bringing boogie boards, beach toys and chairs or towels, which was great. I really cannot say enough about this special little community and this lovely home away from home. It was a 5 star experience and we hope to return many times in the future!

Excellent property, excellent location.

Tom and Laura's little gem was the perfect get-away. The area is lovely and in addition to the beach, we were well-positioned for some terrific day trips. The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a homey stay. Highly recommended.

We have always enjoyed Cape Cod and the beautiful surroundings that New Seabury has to offer. There are many activities to choose from including one of our favorites, relaxing at the beach. It's our hope to share this cottage with you to build special memories.

What makes this property unique

Milestone Way is a location that excited us when we purchased this cottage. We felt its' picturesque street and quiet dead end location made it great for walking, sitting on the patio or just enjoying the sunshine and views, being just steps away from the water.
Our goal in updating the cottage was to provide a very clean, relaxed beach atmosphere in both the furnishings and the decorations. We feel our new selections will enhance your visit to Maushop Village.
