A beautifully renovated townhouse inside the York City Walls. Location was ideal for our week-long stay in York. Everything was easily walkable. but tucked into a small lane that kept very quiet. The house is loaded with anything you could need and was extremely clean. Wifi worked very well and everything in the house was in very good shape. The host was always available and extremely helpful. The Town House is highly recommended!

This was an excellent home for our visit. My son, daughter in law and grandchild had the second floor and we had the top floor. They came and went as they pleased and we never heard them. All the beds were comfortable and rooms beautifully decorated.The kitchen was a joy to work in and all the personal touches made it feel like our own home. We all loved the lights on the dining room wall!We contacted our hostess two times and she replied immediately.We will happily return to this cottage. GREAT location for exploring the town on foot. No car needed.Thank you for our perfect home away from home.

Perfect place

Fabulous house, 4 couples stayed and it worked really well plenty of space and very luxurious. Great location only short walk from station and close to shops and city centre would highly recommend. Louise was a great host very helpful ⭐️

This is a beautifully appointed recently renovated 3 storey home in the centre of York.It includes four generous bedrooms and two bathrooms on the upper floors. The beds were comfortable and the bedding very luxurious! A really comfortable nights sleep was had by all! Nice touches included eight dressing gowns and beautiful towels.The kitchen is beautiful and very well equipped, the whole house spotlessly clean. The lounge features a very comfortable sofa and additional chairs.A lovely courtyard completes this beautiful property.The location is very convenient being a short walk from most of Yorks highlights. Would not hesitate to return!

Friends reunion

The house was perfect for our friends reunion. It is very close to the railway station and the town. The place has everything you need and is a beautiful well kept house. If you want to visit York then this property is ideal.

Wonderful

The house is beautifully presented with everything you could ask for, and a welcome pack which was a lovely surprise. The location is perfect - just a 5 minute walk from the bridge into the centre and easy walking to the station. We had a lovely time and couldn't fault this property. We'll be back!

The highlight of our family vacation

Traveling throughout the UK, this accommodation was the one we loved the most! The location can’t be any better; it was just the right distance to be close to everything yet still quiet through the night. The house was gorgeous, with lots of natural light and comfortable for all six of us. Louise was very responsive to all my inquiries and is a extremely gracious hostess. We all would highly recommend Louise and this property to anyone looking to stay in York. Absolutely a 5+ star experience.

Amazing time!

We had the best time at Louise's house in York! This house was so beautiful, clean, beautifully updated and so well-appointed. It was the perfect size for our family (kids on 3rd floor, grown-ups on 2nd floor, comfortable living quarters on the first floor). We were relaxed and comfortable the whole time. The house was within walking distance to everything in York and the pub down the street was wonderful (location and beer!). I would highly recommend this as the ideal rental for anyone looking for a local rental in York.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house in the heart of York. Our group of five adults and three children found it to be the perfect base for our trip. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the house was spotlessly clean, and it had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.Being located within York's city walls meant we could easily walk to most of the attractions we wanted to visit. It was also an excellent base for exploring further afield, including the Yorkshire Dales and the coastal town of Whitby.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this property to others visiting York.
