Wonderful stay

Had asked for early check in if possible, staff were friendly & carried my bags to the room, arrived a little early & cleaners were just finishing the room, which was lovely & spacious with really comfy beds, bottled water, coffee machine & biscuits, enjoyed a Sunday lunch the food was delicious with plenty of meat & veg, breakfast was also great with cereal, fresh fruit & yogurt followed by a cooked breakfast of your choice with toast & tea/coffe will definitely be back again

Warm, historic, welcoming and great food

The grounds were stunning, and I really loved the old features of the house. The bar area was well stocked and welcoming. The restaurant was nicely furnished, and the food of a very high standard. Outstanding. The rooms were of course old fashioned,but this was part of the charm. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean - I marked it down slightly just because there were a few cobwebs here and there and some dusting. It did feel very clean however. Wonderful place, will definitely be back.

Amazing hotel with friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you.

The rooms were spacious and warm. Amazing value for money. Staff were pleasant and very helpful. Nothing was too much of an ask. The views were stunning and the food again was excellent and great value for money. Everything was clean and tidy. Plenty of room for kids too, with high chairs and the staff were very helpful offering options for the children. Thank you so much.
