Best Hotel in the Area

Everything about this hotel is perfect. The location, well presented rooms, very clean, delicious food and beautiful grounds. I’m working in the area on a contract and I’ve stayed in other hotels previously and was recommended to try the Sweeney and this is by far the best. A fantastically well run hotel with very warm and friendly staff. I look forward to my stays here and they deserve every success. Highly recommend.

6/10 Okay

Below expectation sadly

The building itself is lovely and the staff could not have been more attentive. Food in restaurant was delicious. But we had someone working in the room next to us so very loud banging and drilling which started at about half eight and went on and on. We got back on the Thursday after a really busy day and the plan was to have a nap before going out but that was not possible because of the banging and drilling. We should have been informed that someone was working on the room next door.
