Unique Water View Home with beach pass

Great family area with low traffic. The backyard faces an open land preserve with water-views and great sunsets. Located on a 7 mile salt water pond with an inlet to the ocean. Launch area just footsteps away. Multi-level wrap around decks, screen porch and pergola. 2 family rooms and an upper level loft area with large glass windows that open to 2nd floor deck. 2 large 12x24 Bedrooms with walkout balconies.3 full baths (main bath has 5' stone shower with frameless glass enclosure and 5 Ft vanity) also an outdoor shower. Walk kayaks to launch area.

In the summer months from last week of June to Labor Day we rent Saturday to Saturday with a 7 day minimum.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Perfect Family House & Location

Our family really enjoyed the house and all its amenities. Great set of outside porches with refreshing breezes at night and nice walks to the cove. Perfect house and location for a family vacation.

Absolutely wonderful property, location and proximity to great beaches and activities. Our host, Jim, was excellent and answered all of our questions. As this was our first VRBO, we had many! The house was so comfortable and well-suited to our needs. With our 2 grown children and their spouses as well as a toddler, the multiple living areas, both indoors and outside gave everyone plenty of space. Wonderful, quiet neighborhood and lovely neighbors who were so kind to our grandson. I would absolutely love to return for another stay!

Charlestown by the Sea

This was our second stay here, and we enjoyed it even more. The many decks and open floor plan accommodated our family well. The beach pass is good for two excellent beaches, Charlestown and Blue Shutters. We launched our canoe and kayak easily at the boat launch a few minutes' walk from the house. That made it easy to access Elbow Beach which offers wading pool like conditions suitable for small children. Jim, the host, was helpful and responsive, and everyone in the neighborhood was very friendly.

Wonderful family destination

Our stay was extremely enjoyable. The house is beautiful and we felt right at home. The owner was very responsive and provided a very nice Word document that had instructions as well as recommendations. We traveled with our two young children, 2 and 4, and the recommendations included some great activities for young children. We ended up checking them out and it was a total success! The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. There were four twin beds and two larger beds available. The view of the sunset was beautiful from the upper level deck. The street was perfect for morning walks with the kids. It rained and the water collected into huge puddles that we enjoyed splashing in! We definitely plan to stay again. Next time we may even invite another family so we can enjoy the time together. It’s a quiet neighborhood and we really liked that. Cannot say enough about how much we appreciated the opportunity to stay here. Ten stars!

Beautiful House, Gorgeous Location

We loved our stay, the house was just beautiful and the location was the BEST. Great communication from our host, the house had all luxuries of home and then some for comfort. The location was amazing, my boys loved fishing at the Breachway inlet and beaches. Sunsets at the dock a short walk down the street were beautiful. I’m an RI native and I’m forever in awe of Southern RI’s beauty. This stay enhanced it, don’t hesitate to book.

Fantastic house, great location. Clean and comfortable and plenty of room for 6 people. Awesome decks on the house as well. If I had to nitpick it could use AC in the Summer but other than that it's a wonderful house.

Gorgeous Home in Charlestown, RI

We enjoyed a relaxing week in this home. It is large, comfortable, modern and clean. It is a house with ample room indoor and outdoor for the family to spread out. The decks are gorgeous and the sunsets were enjoyed nightly! The photographs do not do justice! This house is just steps from a boat launch for Ninigret Pond. Unfortunately, we do not own kayaks and they are not supplied by the owner. You can rent kayaks near Charlestown Beach and we had a great time renting kayaks and paddleboards there. The house includes a beach pass and the beaches in Charlestown are spectacular and nearby the home. The house itself is modern and equipped with everything you might want or need on vacation. The kitchen is well-outfitted for cooking a large dinner, with beautiful appliances, knives, glassware, etc. I highly recommend this home if you are looking to stay near - but not "on" - the beach in Charlestown, RI.

Great place in Charlestown

We had a great week in this charming Charlestown house. We loved the decks, and we had plenty of room to spread out with our family of 5. The owner, Jim, was friendly and responsive--when we had a problem with a blocked drain, he came the next day to fix it. The kitchen is well-stocked. Only thing missing is a drying rack for hand-washing dishes. The beach pass to Blue Shutters was fantastic--what a beautiful beach. Recommended!

We had a great time here!

We stayed in this house in August 2010. True to all the other reviews this house was very clean and well equipped. It has a great location in Charlestown, close to everything. We love the area and this house is central to all the things you love to do. We brought kayaks (there is a rental place nearby) and went out on the pond every day. The house has everything you need for a fun week at the beach. Having wifi and dvd players kept the teenagers well entertained in the evenings and we had family fun with Monopoly and jigsaw puzzles.

Great Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation in Charlestown. We were lucky to be able to rent such an amazing house on short notice! The house is beautiful: great decks, quiet neighborhood, beautiful sunsets, all the amenities. We never once had to say, 'I wish we had...' you had it all and then some! Generally, a splendid, well-equipped house and a nice experience. Two suggestions: (1) We had to get up at 6 AM our final day since we had used the house's sheets and towels, and had to wash and dry them. Allowing guests to pay a reasonable fee for this might be a nice alternative. (2) A drying rack would be nice, so the dishwasher cd be used less often. Otherwise, a very nice experience.

We loved the closeness to the water...we had a great time in our kayaks!! Everyone appreciated how much work has been put into the house. The kids especially loved the cozy chairs upstairs and all of us were glad to be able to check our email. Board games were another plus (everyone is now hooked on Cranium!). The house is beautiful, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Love the decks and view, especially from upper deck. Took the boat to the private beach area overlooking the ocean. Did some fishing but unfortunately, didn't catch any. A plus was that we were able to access our email while we were gone and do a little web surfing. Looking forward to next year.
