A very pleasant despite the high temperatures. The property is obviously historic yet well-kept and cared for, with attention to the overall appearance and condition. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel very welcome. Being close to attractions, shops, restaurants and transportation the building managed to provide a peaceful and quiet atmosphere when you closed the front door - We had a truly enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this place to others!

Perfect, spacious and beautiful property for group of friends

A central, clean and truly impressive property for a lovely trip with friends. So much space with en suite bedrooms and a breathtaking outdoor courtyard which I know is uncommon in the city. It felt really opulent and special to be staying here. The communication with Jane was exceptional and reassuring. Little things like fresh flowers, bottles of water in fridges in bedrooms and a picnic basket ready for a lunch at the lake were such lovely touches. We would love to return.

This large house is very lovely and in an excellent location. It is spacious with plenty of areas for our large group to congregate. More detail should be given to the small amenities that guests expect when staying in a home like is, such as paper goods (napkins or towels), body wash or soap in the numerous bathrooms, batteries for the safety light in one of the bedrooms which wasn’t working. All missing. This may seem like a small issue but it is quite expected and inconvenient for guests.

Fabulous house

Fabulous house Located in the center of Carcassonne, this house is beautiful, with a lot of charm and antique furniture, as shown in the photos. The rooms are spacious and very well decorated. However, it is a pity that the house was so dirty - a lot of dust, food stuck in the microwave oven, bad smell and leftover food in the refrigerator. It needs a deep cleaning for the house to be 5 stars. Fabulosa casa Ubicada en el centro de Carcassone, esta casa es preciosa, con mucho charm y muebles antiguos, tal como se muestra en las fotos. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y muy bien decoradas. Sin embargo, es una lástima que la casa estuviera tan sucia - mucho polvo, comida pegada en el horno microondas, mal olor y restos de comida en el refrigerador. Necesita una limpieza a fondo para que la casa sea 5 estrellas.

The house was clean when this family moved in but they had messy teenagers. They left the house in a very dirty state. The review is a misrepresentation but sadly we do not have control over this.

A joy to stay in this historic townhome so well located at the heart of a beautiful city. For a group of friends, the set up is perfect and a delight to experience.
