We really liked Amble.

We really liked Amble. It feels authentic and it is not too touristy. The fact that it has several very good restaurants including The Boat House and The Fish Shack is a real selling point. The house is spacious, well equipped and clean. There is a lot of storage space and the kitchen diner is roomy and attractive. It is a well maintained house that is about 7 minutes walk away from the coast. We had a very pleasant stay here and we really enjoyed it. Thanks to the owners and housekeeper.

Lovely house from outside looks small but once inside it was very spacious and had everything you needed. Beds were very comfy. House was cleaned and decorated to a high standard. Location convenient to explore everything that Northumberland has to offer which is a great deal. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay at Wayside.

An excellent cottage in a good location.

An excellent cottage in a good location. Only 2 adults and 1 dog but would be ideal for 4 adults & 2 children. The fixtures & fittings are of good quality and there's parking outside, which is a bonus. Do not wish to appear negative in any way but a bedroom tv would have been a bonus, along with a clock radio. Also couldn't find a bath mat but maybe I missed this.Highly recommended to anyone of any age wanting a modern, clean and tidy base for exploring the lovely area around Amble.Would definitely re-book this if we are in the area again.Well done to the owners for promoting a lovely place!

Enjoyable stay at Wayside, Amble

No problems at all booking this property and excellent communication from the owner. Wayside is a lovely property and very well kitted out with everything you require. The bottle of wine and biscuits was also a lovely touch, thank you. We would recommend it for a stay in Amble, we loved it.
