The Space:

The Lion's House is a newly restored house with 4 apartments which undertook a complete restoration in September 2010, in Salizada San Lio, Castello. The apartments have been furnished with design and modern taste by our company on behalf of the owners, and are the perfect place to spend your holiday in Venice- central, stylish and comfortable. The Lion's House 3 has 2 bedrooms-1 large double and 1 twin bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a bright living and dining area with 32" flat TV on the wall and a fully equipped kitchen. It has wooden floor, and a romantic feel, with stylish objects selected by Caroline. The bedrooms are spacios and very confortable. The double bedroom has a large wardrobe and chest of drawers, and soft lamps. The single bedroom, with ensuite bathroom has an extra bed. The kitchen is provided with new blender, toaster, kettle, dish washer, washing machine, oven, microwave and a four ring stove. Plus wine glasses, ceramic plates etc and children's plastic plates/cups. The dining area has white table and chairs, and modern paintings by Italian artist Guglielmo Meltzeid from Primo Piano Art gallery in Venice add another contemporary twist.



Guest Access:

The larger bathroom has a cabin shower, sink and WC and the smaller has a WC and a sink.

The apartment is equipped with quality linings, towels and hair drier.

Air conditioning for the Summer and floor heating for the winter. The floor is in wood and the ceiling has old traditional wood beams, typical of Venice palazzos. The lift arrives at every floor.



This apartment is the perfect place for a great family holiday, or a romantic getaway in the historic center of Venice, in an extremely central and convenient location. Restaurants, shops, cafes all just outside your door- great wide choice and suppliers, for all tastes. Try the Venetian "osteria" with local ciceti-tapas for a glass of veneto wine, or the elegant patisseries for cappuccino and typical cakes.

Maid service is available on request. For larger families or groups you can rent several apartments in the same house, please enquire for any special offer.



The Neighborhood:

Beautiful modern apartment at the beginning of the Castello quarter, Salizada San Lio. Extremely central- 2 minutes walk from Rialto and 10 minutes from San Mark Square, yet in a very Venetian area served by local shops, cafes and restaurants. By San Lio Church, and just off S.Maria Formosa and Santa Marina squares with their lively open air cafes. In S.Maria Formosa two Art Museums -Fondazione Querini Stampalia and Palazzo Grimani, and lots more art to discover in the area.

Facing the Salizada and with private street entrance, this apartment is in a house comprising 4 flats completely restored to extremely high standards in 2010.



Getting Around:

Vaporetto line 1 and 2 and Alilaguna (from the airport) stop is Rialto, where we'll meet you. Few minutes walk to the apartment.
