Super cute and clean. Has everything you need for a lovely stay. Two items i would change is the bed is extremely firm and the remote controlled light kept coming on in the bedroom sporadically so we couldn't sleep with the fan on.
Excellent place to stay and enjoy all the activities that Lake Almanor has to offer. The one bedroom cabin is well equipped with great access to the lake and your dock. BBQ’d a couple nights and walked down the street to an Italian restaurant the other night. Great host. Would definitely stay again!
Great location by the water. Cute restaurants near by. Clean space and cozy for two people. Liked being able to sit by the water in the shared space with a table and chairs.
Place was small and cute. Smelled like maybe mold or musty . Hot water ran out quick, But overall enjoyed our stay. The area and landscape was amazing.Would come back to this place.
Nice property w/ lake access & a lovely outdoor sitting area amongst the pines. Enjoyed launching kayaks right from dock. Enjoyed the great restaurants walking distance from cabin….Il Lago (Italian) & Carlos (Mexican). We did a boat tour of lake with Wake Almanor which I highly recommend. Boat launched from Knotty Pines Marina which is a 10 minute walk from cabin or 5 minutes across the water. Everything is so convenient.
The cabin was perfect for me and my two kids. The fold out futon was very comfortable and two kids fit on it easily. The cabin was very clean and modern and well stocked for cooking simple meals. The location is excellent. You wouldn't know it by how quiet and beautiful it is, but you are very close to gas, grocery and restaurants. We brought an inflatable raft which we were able to tie up at the shared dock. Chester is only 10 minutes away. There is fishing, swimming, etc. Wonderful place and the owners are very nice.
The property power went out on Sunday. The property power went out on Monday. The property power went out on Tuesday. Realtors were showing the property for sale. We had to be absent during this time. This was not disclosed to us. The floors with filthy dirty on arrival. No way a professional cleaning service cleaned the property prior to our arrival. The floor was sticky/dirty. Our feet were dirty from walking around on the floor barefoot after 30 minutes. The VRBO website still does not recognize me. I cannot read/open messages received in my VRBO inbox after I log into the site. I did not know how to get the key to the property prior to my arrival. I had to speak to the property owner directly about how to receive the key. Why should I have to worry about this? I want a 180 credit (1 night stay) on my credit card for putting up with all of this unprofessional nonsense. This is not the way things are to go when taking my vacation. Had I stayed in a hotel, none of this nonsense would have happened. I want a 180 credit (one night's stay) to be issued to my credit card. Please contact the owner. Tell her to approve a credit to my credit card. This VRBO experience was poor. Too many problems. :(
Bed was comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Unfortunately refrigerator was very noisy.
BBQ needs cleaning.

Good Stay in Cozy Cabin
Cabin was clean and well equipped. Layout a bit inconvenient with refrigerator right by front door. It was a bit warm, so providing a fan for cooling would have been nice. Property description a. It misleading. The cabin is in a small finger of the lake with no beach access. There was a sitting area close to the water but the view was limited. Good proximity to area attractions, but we would likely pick a different accommodation next time.
Nice older, very clean duplex (updated bathroom). There is a nicely terraced yard and deck down to the lake access. There is not really any beach space for swimming and this is not within the country club so you cannot use their beaches but the owner provides kayaks so you could paddle to a beach area. The upside of the location is that you can walk to the market and several restaurants. The property manager was very nice and responsive.

Quaint and woodsy near the lake
This is a small quaint cabin near the lake and boat launches. Of note, it is a duplex, not a standalone cabin. It has a kitchen, living area, TV with DIRECTV, bathroom and bedroom.
We felt that it was very clean and the owner very responsive. It is outside the LACC community, but does have lake access. It is near a small store and just around the corner from a great restaurant and a gas station in quick Mart.
The place was cute and clean, but the hide a bed in the living area was not at all comfortable. The property adjacent also had very loud parties and commotion going on late at night, but I realize that is out of your control.
Even though the air was clogged with smoke from fires, we still had a great time. The cabin was very comfortable and well equipped. We had easy access to the lake and to the local amenities. We enjoyed hanging out on the front porch and visiting with the neighbors.
These cabins are waterfront, and have a lot of recreational room.
When we were not on the lake, we set up our cornhole boards, and played games all evening.
We would definitely come again.
