Our two identical beach houses offer the best of both worlds . . . 1 block to the beach and a short walk to Jenkinson's boardwalk, featuring rides, attractions, arcades, carnival games and more! An ideal location, close to all, yet away from the noise and traffic on Ocean Ave.

Looking for family fun? It's just a one minute stroll to the boardwalk where you'll discover restaurants and bars, amusement rides for the kids and teens, arcade games, a wonderfully informative aquarium complete with sharks, penguins, seals, and many other undersea creatures, a fun-house, multiple mini golf games, shopping, and live entertainment. Enjoy fireworks on the beach every Thursday night during the summer months.

Did you ever want to go parasailing? Now's your chance! Is fishing your thing? Then head on over to the inlet, get on a charter boat and catch yourself the big one! And don't forget you're just a few blocks away from downtown Point Pleasant where you'll find wonderful restaurants, cafes, shopping, and a huge antique district. There's so much to do you'll have a hard time fitting it all in! 4 beach badges are included with the rental.

The front and back house are set on one large lot with plenty of space for privacy, and outdoor fun. If you're vacationing with extended family or friends, rent both houses which allows more space, greater flexibility and create memories that will last a lifetime. Can rent individually or together (upon availability)

The home was lovely, close to the beach and boardwalk. The shower was a little small. There were a lot of cracked floor tiles, and you should put a few nonstick Teflon frying pans in there.We enjoyed out stay very much. Thank you!!!

Point Pleasant Getaway

My husband and I had a lovely experience during our stay. The house was very comfortable and was within walking distance to the beach. Jim was very attentive and responded to all my questions in a timely manner. Great option for a getaway without going too far from home!

We couldn't believe how quite it was, being just 1 block in from Ocean Ave. That end of the beach was even quite & spacious, as we watched everyone crowded together down by Jenks & the Tiki Bar. The house had everything we needed: 4 beach badges, 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella, even a cart to carry it all. The outdoor shower was fabulous! Highly recommend The Warfside Patio for Happy Hour, inside Warfside for delicious dining, Salty's for ice cream lovers, and Jenks Inlet indoor/outdoor bar where the locals go to watch the fireworks. Jim was always available, and gave us tips each day on what events were happening on the beach & boardwalk. Definitely renting a "twin" again!

Excellent location

We are a family (2 adults, daughter who is 2 and a dog) and the stay was wonderful! The house is one story so we really liked that for our daughter. The house is 2 blocks from the beach and an easy stroll up the the boardwalk by Jenkinson’s aquarium. The owners are wonderful and really take care of their visitors. They make suggestions ahead of time, checked in throughout the visit, and left a book full of information. It is obvious that they take great care in their homes. There were two sets of fireworks (one of the lake and one over the ocean). We had perfect views for both. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We are already excited for our next trip next summer!

We had a wonderful time. Location was excellent and the house was very clean. Walk to the boardwalk took less than 5 min. Owner communicated before trip and was very professional. Appreciated the kid size table as the bar stools were too high for my little ones. We would definitely return! One tip for anyone with babies/young toddlers- it’s a stand up shower only which I didn’t realize so it was a bit tough with my 17 mo old. Next time I would pay attention to that and just bring a baby tub to sit on the shower floor. Excellent stay

Quick walk to beach

The house was comfortable and met our needs for the beach trip. We loved the area for the quick walk to the beach and enjoyed the house's outdoor shower and grill. While we were there, a leg of the bed frame in the kids bedroom broke, I told the host and he seemed more annoyed than anything and didn't offer to come help fix it, instead said he would "inspect it" once we left. There is a camera on the outside of the property FYI, he mentioned he was checking the outdoor camera one day and I felt a little weird about that given we were spending a lot of time outside the house playing with the kids and in swimwear from the beach at times. Other than feeling like we didn't have much privacy, the house itself was nice!

Great location, adorable little cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was great... close enough to all the action that Point Pleasant has to offer while just far enough away to avoid the noise and the crowds when need be. The owners were incredible to work with... simply a joy from start to finish. The unit is in good condition and well-stocked... all kitchen appliances worked well, fully functioning TV/Wifi, nice grill, and a well-positioned outdoor shower. We brought my two young sons and, as mentioned, the location was basically ideal. We walked everywhere... the beach, the boardwalk, the bay, the little downtown area for coffee and grocery shopping, the park, the ice cream shoppe, the aquarium... The only time I got in my car the entire stay was to drive to the movie theater on a particularly rainy day. The only even slight negative -- and this isn't really a negative as much as it is just a function of the house -- is that the common space was smaller than we expected. It was a little tight for two young and active boys... though the outdoor yard space made up for this. We'd gladly stay here again, especially with the boys a little older next year. If you are traveling without kids or with older kids (or just kids a little less active than my two little Tasmanian devils!), this place is really ideal. A great value with wonderful owners!

The house - the house was clean and ready for us upon arrival. The house layout and space was very comfortable to stay in. We did not use the kitchen much but it was well stocked with utensils, plates, bowls…. The bathroom was small but super clean. Location was great…less than 10 minute walk to the boardwalk. Bonus-great view of Thursday night fireworks from the front door.Jim our host was great. Super responsive, he answered any questions I had right away and provided info on events and local places of interest.

What a pleasure!

Everything you could ask for, absolutely perfect!

From the start Jim was a great communicator and supportive throughout the booking process. The house was just as described, and honestly even better in person. The location is hard to beat, a block from the beach and less than a block from a fantastic quick breakfast option. You’re less than a mile from wonderful dining options, such as Spanos for hearty Italian, and multiple fresh seafood choices right on the water! All in all, a tremendous rental, we can’t wait to come back!

Cute Beach Cottage!

I rented Jim & Donna’s back house for 3 nights this past June. My 4 year old and I had a great time there. He loved the outdoor shower and proximity to the boardwalk with all the games and rides. The house has the basics and is in a great location for a few nights’ stay.

Perfect location & space

We stayed in the back house. Space was perfect for my husband, son, mil and dog. Cute porch with rocking chairs, lil grassy back sitting area and middle grassy area with picnic table and bbq. The outside shower was private and perfect as a second shower overall. Clothing line to dry wet clothes/towels, large lounge beach chairs provided as well. The house is clean and well stocked of all the lil necessities from home. The location is awesome. We walked north to a small cut thru right to water st beach entrance. There is a breakfast place, donuts and laundromat around the corner and a pizzeria 1 block away. It’s the perfect walking distance to the Inlet Bar (outside seating, live music and dog friendly w dog beach park on Mon & Tues nites) and to the Jenks Boardwalk Rides and arcades. Louise Lake is across the street and I jogged the dog around the lake neighborhood. There are lil nooks along the lake where you can sit and relax. We found this location and house perfect. The owners are friendly and accommodating. Everything was perfect:)

Family Wedding

Enjoyed our stay at this property for a family wedding. Rooms were nice. Weren't told there wasn't going to be linens for the rental but Jim procured some for us for our stay. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to be near the shore

Perfect beach house

The house was clean, well cared-for and the hosts were available anytime. Neighborhood was residential and quiet. Beach a block away. Beds comfortable and air-conditioned. Recommend completely.
