We had a wonderful stay at Ropemakers Cottage. It was perfect for our family, we spent days exploring the nearby sites and enjoyed relaxing evenings at the cottage. The cottage had everything we needed to prepare family meals together, was clean and cozy. During our stay the weather was very warm and we were grateful for the provided fans in the bedrooms. There was limited parking directly in front, but we had no issues as there is a community free parking lot very close with easy access to the back door of the cottage. Communication with Laura was wonderful from the booking, prior to arrival, and after check out. We'd welcome the opportunity to stay again.

Very comfortable and well-equipped property

Communication was very good, the property was spotlessly clean and lots of very thoughtful touches in the well-stocked kitchen added to our enjoyment of the three-night stay. The instructions within the house were very clear and helpful, the cottage had a lovely feel and very comfortable beds and furniture.

The property was a good standard in terms of furnishings and cleanliness. The welcome pack was appreciated and the little extras, such as salt and pepper in the kitchen were a pleasant surprise . The only weaknesses we felt were in bathroom ; the lack of a catch on the door to ensure privacy and lack of hooks for clothing and towels close to the shower . We parked our car inside the property so didn’t use the outside area . We were comfortable in the lounge and bedrooms though the TV settings were problematic perhaps from the previous occupant and there was quite a lot of noise from the property above for the first two nights . Overall we had an enjoyable stay .

Ollerton below zero

Whilst outside was freezing cold, inside was brilliantly warm on arrival. The hamper provided was more than anyone could expect. The cottage was presented with every detail thought through. Congratulations. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.10 out of 10.
