Please note: Electric bikes are not permitted at the property.. In the charming village of Portinscale, just 20 minutes’ walk from Keswick, 4 Harney Peak is ideal for couples and families with older children seeking to explore the heart of the Lake District National Park. There is a sense of warmth and welcome in this apartment on the first floor.



Upon entering the house, you will find a living area with comfortable seating, large windows with good views, a dining table and a contemporary kitchen with dishwasher. The Smart TV with Netflix is the perfect place to watch a movie together with some popcorn and a glass of wine on a cosy night in. If you want a hearty breakfast, the kitchen has everything you need, but nearby cafés and restaurants are all within walking distance so you may end up leaving without breakfast. After a day of sightseeing, you will enjoy a good night’s sleep in these two double bedrooms with sumptuous duvets and pillows, as well as plenty of storage space and places to hang your belongings. Featuring an en-suite shower room and Juliette balcony, one bedroom has its own bathroom. The property also benefits from allocated parking for 2 cars..



In the peaceful and pretty village of Portinscale, 4 Harney Peak was formerly a Lakeland hotel. There are many flat, off-road footpaths leading either down to the lakeside and marina or into Keswick, where there is an abundance of shops, outdoor specialists, cafés, and restaurants. The Keswick Launch can be accessed from Nichol End, allowing you to view nearby fells from the lake. You can enjoy the views from Catbells on a quiet evening stroll or head to Brandlehow Park along the lake shore path.
