Great little bungalow with everything you need for a short or long stay We were 3 people with two dogs and it was perfect for us 25 minute walk from Keswick or 5 minute drive
Roger was very communicative in the lead up to our stay and kindly let us enter the property early to get out of the rain (storm Boelo)! Torrential rain and high winds weren't part of our Lake District plans but we were lucky to have such a comfortable home to stay cosy in instead. The gas fireplace kept us lovely and warm while we played boardgames. We wouldn't hesitate to return (when there's a better weather forecast!)
First impressions were WOW and they didn’t change throughout our stay. The kitchen/dining room is stunning and very modern. The living room is lovely and cosy (but not small). The bedrooms were perfectly sized with plenty of storage. The main bathroom is big and modern and the en suite is small but a great addition. Roger’s communication was perfect and very helpful. The garden is also stunning and would be amazing in Summer. It isn’t enclosed for those bringing dogs but this is information detailing this.
The cottage was a lovely base for us to stay during our visit to the lakes. It all felt very homely, in a very peaceful location, and was fully equipped for everything we needed. Fab views from the property as well. We would definitely stay again!
A very well stocked comfortable house with everything you need for a holiday. The garden was really lovely too with lots of nice plants and seating areas. There is a great games cupboard we didn’t even get time to use. The house is a short walk to Keswick along the old railway line and close to lots of other great walks. We had a really lovely time there.
A lovely property with plenty of spsce in the house, outdide the house and in terms of parking. Within walking distance of central Keswick, host met us on arrival and was helpful with information, showing us round the house and advising on places to eat. House is beautifully maintained and well stocked with kitchen equipment.
Lovely bungalow which gives a home from home feeling, the owner Roger met us at the property when we arrived and was very informative. Ideal for visiting different places in the area and also lovely walks straight from the door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it as a place to stay.

Thanks Ruth always nice to know a guest has enjoyed their stay.
Clean, quiet location in Keswick. Nicely furnished. Easy access to walking in the Lake District and a 20-25 minute walk from town center, which is a great option when the roads are choked with traffic.
Lovely comfortable bungalow in really good location. Loved that we could walk to Keswick along the disused railway track. Easy to get around by car or bus from the house.
We had a great week at Roger's bungelow. Very comfy in beautiful surroundings.
Would have been tricky for a disabled person which we thought we needed but actually didn't.
Would thoroughly recommend the property, thanks Roger.
Pinecroft was perfect for our time in Keswick, for exploring the lakes and fells around Derwent Water and the Buttermere Valley. A quiet location within a 15-20 minute walk of the town centre, Pinecroft was clean, spacious and well equipped, and it has great views across the fells north and west of Keswick.
The house is absolutely beautiful. The gardens are lovely and relaxing. The house itself was beautifully laid out. Very very comfortable. Very clean on arrival and the host couldn’t do enough for us - we had an issue with heating which was sorted in minutes of contact. He let us check in a little bit earlier which was great. The house is about 20 minutes walking distance into the town centre which was absolutely fine for us and it’s perfectly situated for local buses as far as we could work out. A lovely place to relax - just a shame we couldn’t stay there longer. I’ve got nothing but praise for it. Thank you very much for letting us stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Excellent standard of accommodation and ideally situated a short walk to the town centre and many scenic walks close to hand.
Highly recommend.
Thank you
Lovely property an well equiped. The only slight quibble would be the size of the ensuite. It was a tight squeeze.

Yes as described in the property details the ensuite with shower is small and though I say so myself, quite cleverly designed to get WC, basin and shower in the space available. Could've left out the shower but opted to include a second shower option.
Excellent location for Lakes. Very comfortable beds and lounge and spacious. However the Garden is not pet friendly or child friendly as it is not enclosed and there are several un fenced ponds, perhaps a warning could be posted on property information.
