A comfortable spacious property

This property is very clean and spacious and is really well equipped. Bedrooms are light and spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Great location in the middle of the village but very quiet. The walled garden is very pretty. A great place for a large group.

Amazing house for family gathering

This property is amazing, such a grand feel with character rooms (which were gigantic) it was the perfect house for our family get together allowing everyone to eat and socialize together!

Second time at The White House

We returned to The White House after stating here earlier in the year and we were not disappointed. Once again, the accommodation was excellent for our group of 8 people. The kitchen again was the hub of the house and we did a lot of entertaining in this room, including a Murder Mystery dinner which was fun! The kitchen is fully kitted out with everything you could need and was so easy to use for cooking meals and serving drinks ( although the house needs a modern bottle opener/corkscrew ). The drawing room also hosted us most evenings and the fire made it feel so cosy. In terms of bedrooms, all our guests were delighted with their rooms and bathrooms. They all had good quality linen and were spotlessly clean. We were blessed with lovely weather during our stay and the garden proved a perfect place to have a morning coffee or play garden games; it is so safe and secluded. We also appreciated the house’s location in Bembridge, so close to the beach and the high street.

A Fantastic large home for my wife's 50th Birthday gathering

This is a lovely old house with plenty of space for all. Good facilities, comfy lounge and large kitchen / diner to cater for all. Hot water could have been better, but it is a huge old property.

A blissful weekend

We stayed there as a family group to celebrate my sister's big birthday. The house was very comfortable, with plenty of space and everything we needed provided. A lovely welcome box to see us in. It is such a gorgeous house, it felt like a stay in a really special place!

Stylish and very comfortable

My family and I have stayed in the White House three times in the last few years. It’s a wonderful place, large and full of charm and character. Lots of generous sized en-suite bedrooms, wonderfully equipped kitchen, and delightful sitting rooms and walled garden. Bembridge is a pretty little seaside village with attractive shops and walks.

A beautiful house,

A very beautiful comfortable and spacious house with well equipped kitchen......garden with loungers also just right for our group of eight friends. Bembridge is a lovely village on the doorstep with independent small shops and cafes. Just down the hill, a short walk is Bembridge Harbour and there are coastal paths and other towns nearby. Would be hard to match this accommodation anywhere else!

Amazing House !

We stayed in The White House for a celebratory weekend. It was perfect for our 4 generations of family. Ample space, wonderfully comfortable bedrooms, all with Ensuite bathrooms which gave everyone the privacy they wanted. The kitchen is a delight, the hub of the house, while the main lounge was ideal for cosy chats by the fire and hosting lots of family games. We enjoyed the pool room immensely too and the snug gave everyone the opportunity to watch their favourite teams on the TV. Although our weather was poor the location is ideal for walking to the beach and exploring lovely Bembridge. We also enjoyed games of Molkey in the garden which was secure and private. All in all, we loved our time at The White House and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Fabulous Bembridge Property

We had an excellent week at the White House for an extended family celebration. The house is spacious and comfortable, with a wonderful walled garden, and all of the rooms are lovingly furnished with everything you might need for a home away from home. Situated in the centre of Bembridge the house is perfectly located for access to the local shops, pubs, restaurants, boutiques, Bembridge harbour and beaches, and the coastal trail. Highly recommended.

Fantastic home!

We stayed at The White House for a short break as an extended family with 3 generations staying together. The White House exceeded our expectations with the level of comfort, thoughtfulness and character. It's a beautiful family home that feels indulgent and generous. The rooms are large and the number of bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms meant that everyone was very comfortable. The house is in a great location, a short walk from the beach, local shops and cafes whilst being peaceful and quiet. We can't recommend The White House enough.

A memorable stay!

We had the most incredible stay at the White House over New Year. The house is truly breathtaking on arrival and beautifully furnished throughout. It’s rare to stay somewhere with such a well-equipped kitchen, and we really loved being able to cook and enjoy meals together there. The house is spacious and made for gathering. We were a party of 12 and celebrated both New Year and a birthday, which made it extra special. A highlight was our visit to the Old Fort in Seaview for a fantastic birthday lunch. The local bus stopping right outside the house was a bonus and a fun, easy way to get around. A walk along the beach is an absolute must—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect way to unwind. We would love to return during the summer months to experience the house and surroundings in a different season. Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable stay.
