This VRBO was one of the best we ever stayed in. The host, Francesco was amazing. He greeted us when we arrived, was always available if we had questions. We absolutely loved our stay in Argegno, Lake Como and will definitely come back in the future! We also plan to tell all our friends about Francesco and his Villa!

Can I give it a 10 and stay longer.Wonderful location with both mountain and lake views. Francesco is an attentive, friendly and generous host. Extensive welcome package…. Next day croissants.Arrangement for on site chef and dinner was amazing.The location is stunning and Argegno is away from maddening crowds…!!!

Excellent location, host, villa, and spectacular grounds. The pictures do not do it justice. Quaint town walkable distance from Villa. We rented a car and found it helpful to get to Menaggio, then ferried to Bellagio. We would stay here again and again!

We had a fantastic time in this beautiful villa! Francesco (best Vrbo host around!!) met us at the house at our arrival. He had already stocked the kitchen with everything needed for breakfast! That evening he arranged for a private catered dinner at the house, which was exceptional. The next day he took us on a tour of the lake, which was a highlight of our trip. We can't say enough good things about this property and Francesco!

Absolutely beautiful. Exceeded our expectations. Francesco is amazing. Friendly and accommodating. Dinner experience with Chef Umberto was first class. The house is a dream. The architecture is fascinating. Basically 3 floors but there are multiple levels and the wood work is stunning. You will not be disappointed. The village of Argegno is a short walk away with numerous shops and restaurants. Idyllic.

Amazing Villa to see Lake Como from

This was a great place to stay. The property on the lake is amazing. Francesco is a wonderful host. Easy to work with ..can arrange everything from a chef, boat trips, tours to St. Moritz ...and event dinner at his favorite restaurant in Aregano. Can't say enough about this Villa. We had (3) couples and so much more enjoyable than being in a hotel.

Our group of 8 had a wonderful stay at the villa. The property and grounds were pristine. We had the chef prepare our dinners and would highly recommend, he did an excellent job! We also had an unforgettable 6 hour private boat tour of the lake, it's a must do if you stay at the villa! The host Francesco went above and beyond to make our stay an amazing one, and we look forward to staying here on our next trip to Lake Como. Five stars and two thumbs up for this property and host!

A piece of paradise

Amazing family vacation in charming town on lake como!

We can’t say enough good things about this house and the host! It’s the perfect house for a family with young adult children and their significant others. The chef made a memorable first night with an elaborate dinner on the patio overlooking the lake. Francesco made sure we had everything we needed and even bought food for our first breakfast. His boat tour of the lake and knowledge of the area were highlights! I would recoimend this property without hesitation!

Lago Di Como GEM

We enjoyed a six night family and friends vacation. We especially enjoyed Francesco’s gracious hospitality and sparkling personality. Francesco showed us around Lake Como on his boat, and was very helpful in making other reservations and arrangements. The property was spectacular with an expensive lake front. We look forward to our next visit.

Scenic, sparkling, SPECTACULAR!

I dreamed of staying at this villa for two years and brought three friends here to celebrate my retirement. The home, property and panoramic views are unique and stunning and surpassed all expectations.The host, Francesco, and his assistant, Chica, respond quickly to questions and requests. We took a beautiful lake tour in Francesco’s boat. I hope to return some day!

Wonderful time at a beautiful villa!!

My family and I stayed at Francesco Villa and it was truly amazing. The place itself is breathtaking on the lake and it was absolutely spotless. We had all the amenities we needed and Francesco was an incredible host He got reservations for us at various restaurants and we also did a day with his boat which he was our skipper . He was so informative of Lake Como and we had a wonderful time. We truly can not say enough about his place. Absolutely beautiful. We hope to be back again

Villa La Ruga Dream!

Look no further. This Lake Como villa was a dream! Host, Francesco’s hospitality was above and beyond! The villa is everything the photos show & more! The views are spectacular & town of Argegno is so quaint! Umberto prepared the most delicious birthday dinner with the help of Claudio. Must do! Paolo’s boat tour of the lake was so wonderful, with stops at Bellagio & Varenna! We can’t wait for our return! Ciao Francesco, until next time!!

Once in a lifetime experience

This villa vacation is one that will stay forever in my memory .. the most fantastic location on Lake Como with the most perfect of hosts who was helpful from beginning to end and helped make a milestone birthday celebration memorable and fun.Was difficult even leaving the villa every day as the view there was hard to top. It is just a short boat ride to celebrity homes and I would still prefer the location of this one for privacy and pure views!Don’t stall - Book it. Life is short and we are worth the occasional splurge. This one is 100% worth it!

Wonderful rental and host

Family of 7 adults stayed for 3 days. The house was exactly as posted. Beautiful, clean and perfect. Francesco is a great host and person. Always smiling and helpful and accommodating. I could not imagine staying anywhere else while in Como. We hope to come back again. You must stay here if you are traveling to Como. Use Francesco private chef at the house and boat taxi. It made for the most memorable vacation and experience for our family.
