Rural Lakeland house with excellent accommodation and gardens, beautifully restored to luxurious standards. 2 Dogs welcome. Sleeps 6.

Note: This property is located down a single farm track with difficult access - please drive carefully.

Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, Smart TV, WiFi. Fuel and power inc in rent. Bed linen and towels inc in rent. Cot and highchair available. Off road parking for 3 cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Please specify how the zip & link bed should be configured, it will be made as double unless specified otherwise. Sorry, no smoking. Note: This property is located down a single farm track with difficult access - please drive carefully

Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Town: The small country market town of Cockermouth is situated in the quiet north-western part of the Lake District, a largely undiscovered and unspoilt area, yet only 13 miles from Keswick. The town is famous as the birthplace of both William Wordsworth and Fletcher Christian (of Mutiny on the Bounty fame) and Wordsworth’s Georgian family home, on the main street, is now a popular visitor attraction, owned by the National Trust. Cockermouth offers a good variety of shops, pubs and places to eat, but (of course) the main attraction of the area is the beautiful scenery and excellent walking in the northern lakes – Bassenthwaite Lake, Ennerdale Water and Derwent Water.
