About this property

Authentic retreat location in peaceful surroundings and infinite sea views

This beautiful 19th century stone built house, has been recently restored in a elegant traditional style and with original beautiful antiques.

The small village of Negi Fumei is like time stood still and you will find yourself in an old Italian Fellini-movie. Surrounded by olive trees and rolling hills, it is the ideal location for a relaxing holiday. The house offers an amazing open view from each of the windows over the valley and the sea.

There are 4 bedrooms, 2 on the first floor with fully furnished bathroom, 2 on the lower ground floor with a lounge, direct door to the garden and a second bathroom with a shower.

These 2 bedrooms used to be a stables and the stone arched lounge in between the bedrooms can seat up to 14 people with its large wooden table.

The kitchen is located on the ground floor with a large lounge connected with a stunning terrace facing south and the sea.
The kitchen is fitted with a dish washing machine and a large fridge-freezer. From the dining room-kitchen, there is a large window overlooking the gentle hills and sea.

At the front of the house, facing south, there is a large private garden with an olive grove offering an amazing view on the valley and sea where you can enjoy relaxing in the sun while having breakfast or lunch. The newly built swimming pool is located in the olive groove, and is 42 square meters with 1.45cm deep. No diving unfortunately
Please note that the swimming pool is shared by 3 rental houses but there is plenty privacy for every one.

The ancient village rich of wild vegetation, is a destination for mountain and sea lovers but also ideal for children running free. We like to offer the best rates compared to similar properties in the Mediterranean shores.

Free WiFi available even under the olive grove and bicycles available on request.

My family runs a small, very romantic roof top 'ristorante' in the village where our quests will be served the best local foods prepared by two fantastic Italian cooks; my sister and 'la mama' who love to tell you everything about the homegrown ingredients and their cooking.

Perfect retreat!

We loved staying at the Case Cassini when visiting Bordighera! You have to have a car to stay here and the winding mountain roads are not for inexperienced drivers, but it's a lovely place to relax and the pool is very refreshing with stunning views. There are also great roads and paths for hiking and running. Antonio and his sister were super helpful and responsive - truly kind people and a great community to discovery, with plenty of things to do in nearby Bordighera as well as a beautiful place for some dolce far niente!

Wonderful pool with view at the seaside!

We had great two weeks in the new house of Negi, the nice green garden which looked very well, with all the flowers, and we loved the swimming pool so much! Because of the great weather we could swim every day and lay in the sun. The view from the house and even from the pool towards the sea was a big attraction every day! The frog concert in the evening was very nice, too! We liked it to play table tennis and table football. We all felt very well in Negi!

We loved our stay, but some things were not up to the desciption.

The view, the pool area and the terrace were amazing. The house was nice but needed some repairing. The dish washer was broken. The restaurant in the village was closed. Two out of three restaurants in Seborga were also closed. Reading about the house at Vrbo I thought there was a washing machine, but there wasn´t. These things were disappointing.

Schönes Haus mit super Ausblick und wunderbarem Pool. Anfahrt anspruchsvoll.Innen:Teilweise waren die Matratzen zu weich, Bettgestelle zu wackelig. Möblierung interessant, Beleuchtung sollte ergänzt werden zB: Leselampen. Küchenausstattung i.O., es fehlten kleine Schälchen. Verdunklung im UG fehlt (Kleinkinder!), im OG fehlt der Insektenschutz (beachte: viele Stechmücken).Alles in allem haben wir den Aufenthalt als Familie sehr genossen. Der Vermieter war gut zu erreichen und freundlich im Umgang.

Heerlijk ruim vakantiehuis!!

We hebben hier een heerlijke vakantie gehad. Antonio is een goede gastheer. We hebben ook heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant van zijn familie, echt een aanrader voorwie van authentiek italiaans eten houdt. Tevens heeft hij een bijzonder uitgebreide wijnkaart!!!Het terras heeft een fantastisch uitzicht op zee en 's avonds hoor je een heel kikkerconcert!Het is echter niet aan te bevelen met hele jonge kinderen. De hekken, trappen in de tuin alsmede de toegang tot het zwembad maken voor de kleintjes gevaarlijkEnige verbeterpuntjes zijn: in de badkamer boven regelmatig geen waterdruk en dus geen water. TV niet ingesteld (dus geen voetbal kunnen kijken helaas). Het huis had schoner gekund..

Erholung pur

Wir waren 2 Wochen mit 3 Generationen der Familie hier und haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Es ist etwas weit vom Schuß, aber total entschleunigend. Die Gegend ist toll, das Haus urgemütlich, aber am besten ist die große Terrasse mit Meerblick und Pool direkt daneben. Es gibt viele sehenswerte Ziele an der Küste und auch bergseitig, wir haben tolle Ausflüge unternommen. Antonio ist ein sehr sympathischer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der auch noch super kochen kann. Herzlichen Dank für die 2 schönen Wochen in Negi Fumel.

Super erholsamer Urlaub

Uns hat es allen sehr gut gefallen. Danke an Antonio alles hat immer super geklappt die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter Antonio wahr super. Die Lage der Villa ist ein Traum mit Meerblick. Schöner Pool zum entspannen. Das Essen bei der Familie von Antonio ist ein Traum man muss es unbedingt in Anspruch nehmen. Gerne werden wir wiederkommen.

Special Italian flair

In July I had the pleasure to visit your house. As I arrived I was very pleased about the Italian flair, the house which was very nice with its charming antique Italian style. Whenever I needed something, you were helpful and friendly. The pool was always clean and I enjoyed swimming inside while looking at the sea. I liked the nice Italian surrounding and the short way to the seaside (only 20 minutes!). I´m very happy that I´ve chosen your wonderful house – thanks a lot for all!

Great decision to stay here!

The new holiday house from the Casini family is great! We got enthousiastic about the rooms which had an antique style, and the pool was a special highlight for all of us. One evening, the pool lights even changed their colours - that was fantastic! You have a brilliant view to the sea from the house and the pool. Staying at this beautiful house in Negi for holiday was a good idea! A “big thank you” to the Cassini family!

Beautiful landscape

Beautiful landscape with view on the sea. It is possible to eat outside. Good possibility to get fresh rolls and bread for breakfast in Seborgha, a small village, ten minutes from Negi by car. The televisions have German programmes: you can receive ARD and ZDF.

super holiday domocile!

We stayed in Negi for 14 days this July and had a great time there. The new house with the fantastic swimming pool is wonderful! Large, light rooms, precious old furniture, lots of garden and space around the house and a great view over the mountains to the seaside. You can sleep outside on the big terrace if you want. The house is clean, the kitchen well equiped, and the price is really fair for this luxurious holiday domicile! The area of Negi is very quiet, you can watch special plants and wonderful flowers while going for a walk. If you want more "touristique programme", the seaside is only 20 minutes away. What is very special is the owner´s family, they all are very, very kind. You don´t feel foreign because they´re so friendly and helpful with whatever you need or want to know. You can get fresh vegetables, eggs and fruits from their fields, and they also sell their own very, very (!) good olive oil. We were so happy and want to come back. Thanks for that wonderful, relaxing and interesting place to enjoy an unforgettable holiday!

We care very much about our land and our traditions. So home grown and home made food are at the heart of our lives. We would love to show you this little piece of Italian 'dolce vita'. Me and my family will welcome you.

This property presents the best of a lot of worlds. It is private, yet not secluded. It is close to the sea, without being bothered by tons of tourists, it gives you local life, yet the hustle and bustle of Monaco and other large cities close by, you can relax by the pool or in the Mediterranean sea, or take a hike in the mountains. Whatever you prefer, it is here.
