Sally was very friendly and helpful, both before our arrival and on meeting her. The property was spotless and the welcome treat and dog biscuits were a nice surprise thank you.There were just a couple of things that we picked up on, the toilet seat was very loose and also the boiler was turned right down so it was really cold and the water was cold too, which took a while to get the cottage warm for the first evening. We sorted this but then found a small leak on the boiler, which was solved by a towel. All in all we had a really pleasant stay and would definitely return and recommend to others. Thank you so much.

Thank you for your kind review Viv. I’m sorry you had difficulty with the loo seat. It’s a quick release seat (for cleaning) and the cleaner couldn’t have clicked it back into place properly. Thank you for pointing out your problem with the boiler. It is serviced annually, and is a combi boiler, so the heat and hot water should be instantaneous. We’ll certainly get this looked at. Really nice for a getaway, not far from Bude, the house had everything you need.

Perfect bolt hole for our Devon break!

We had a fabulous time at the barn. Sally was so helpful and made check-in really easy and gave us suggestions for places to visit in the area. The barn had everything we needed and the secure garden was great for our dog. Our 2 year old daughter loved running in the fields and seeing the surrounding cows and horses. Would definitely recommend staying here! Hope to return in the future. Thank you!

Das Cottage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Es hat Alles was man braucht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett. Die Gegend um Bradworthy ist sehr schön.

Wir verbrachten 2 wunderschöne Wochen im Neil's Worden Barn.Dieses wundervolle Gebäude ist mit sehr viel Liebe und Mühe restauriert und hergerichtet. Es ist gemütlich, sauber, gepflegt und gutausgestattet mit allen notwendigen und hilfreichenDingen und Haushaltsgegenständen, die es für einen Self-Catering-Urlaub bedarf. Uns hat es an Nichts gefehlt.Das Cottage war authentisch zum Online-InseratDie Lage war für uns ideal, ländlich und ruhig gelegen. Der nahegelegene Ort Bradworthy kann gut zu Fuß erreicht werden. WerEinsamkeit sucht, findet sie in dieser Umgebung (wir erlebten dort einen sogenannten Dark-Sky-Place, mit 180-Grad-Blick auf den Sternenhimmel). Andererseits aber wunderbar zentralgelegen, um North Devon, die dortigen Etappen des South-West-Coast-Path und die umliegenden Küstenstädte in alle Richtungen zu erkunden, inüberschaubarer Entfernung per PKW.Die Vermieterin, Sally Howard, ist eine liebevolle undwarmherzige Frau, die jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zurVerfügung stand, wenn man sie benötigte. Bereits bei der Ankunft erwartete uns ein Kuchen und ein kurzer liebevoller Brief. Für uns war es der 7. Aufenthalt in UK, davon 4 mal in Südengland. Wir würden uns jederzeit wieder für Neil's Worden Barn in Bradworthy/Devon entscheiden.
