Thank you for choosing our cottage for your time here in Yorktown. We are so glad you found it to be cozy & comfortable.
This host is away nice and accommodating especially with this trip and the lateness check in due to the Auto train for Fla being all screwed up due to the fires that started after we got on the train and had to return to the starting point and start our stay a day and half later than planned.

Thank you for allowing us to host you at Yorktown Cottages during your trip to Yorktown.
I can't say enough good things about this cottage! We arrived late, very early morning and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to blueberries, bananas, pancake mix, milk and o j! Coffee pods and sugar, Tea and honey! LIFE SAVING! Seriously, we stay at vrbo all the time and we have not had that kind of treatment a while! It made a huge difference. The cottage itself was exactly as described, beds were comfortable, rooms were beautiful and cozy. The boys really enjoyed the den with the gas fireplace and played cards and board games well into the night. I specifically enjoyed the upstair soaking bath and the towel warmer. Restaurants in the area were amazing, beach is a short walk, history is right out the door. I highly recommend this stay and we'll definitely stay again!
This cottage was perfect! Very comfortable, everything we needed was available! The location to the Yorktown waterfront was our favorite thing. We took a walk every evening to the water. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Yorktown area!
We found this cottage to be exactly as described and pictured. We loved being in the historic district of Yorktown. The cottage is charming and hosts were friendly and responsive through the VRBO chat.
Very well appointed and excellent location. The kitchen had everything and more and we were able to cook several meals including Jambalaya and lasagna. The house has ample space, yet feels cozy. The beds and linens were comfy. We highly recommend!

From ease of check-in to the amenities at this cottage everything was spot-on for our perfect mini get-away to Yorktown! And the trolley service just outside our door was super convenient to downtown for the beach, shopping, museums, walking trails, etc. A

Thank you for staying at Yorktown Cottages and for the exceptional review! We hope to have the opportunity to host you again.
We have stayed here many times, so it has become a home away from home. We have family in the area, and love staying here! The location in historic Yorktown is perfect. We can walk to the shops and restaurants, and the battle fields. We love going to Mobjack Coffee Roasters. The cottage is always clean, and the owners are very responsive to any questions.

Yorktown is our first choice for raising our family. Historic Yorktown offers a quaint town for recreational activities, and a perfect location for our eventual retirement plans.

Why they chose this property
This unique property offers a cottage feel with ~2,000 square feet, and three courtyards with gardens / flowers.
Property in the Historic District is rarely available for purchase, so it was a rare opportunity when the previous resident retired from her Yorktown-based business of over 30 years. We have added several touches throughout the cottages (her former residence and art gallery) that hint to the previous resident and entrepreneur, Ms. Nancy Thomas.
What makes this property unique
--Yorktown Cottages are the last "tourist homes" to be approved in Yorktown to allow operation without the owners co-located onsite, thus we offer a unique private home experience, close to everything. --Private home without owner occupant on premises --No shared spaces with other travelers --In the heart of the Historic District of Yorktown, VA in walking distance to the beach and events! --Offers proximity to Historic Triangle attractions, with ease of travel between Williamsburg, Yorktown, and Jamestown --Trolley stop across from the property that offers complimentary service around Yorktown's Historic District --Family-friendly. Children are welcome.
