With this central and convenient location, family-oriented activities such as boating, fishing, kayaking, sandcastle building, and crabbing are just a step away.

Every unit features a full kitchen, full bath, plus additional outdoor hot water shower, an enclosed front porch with a family-sized table.

Sleeping accommodations at the 64 South Unit include: 2 full beds, 2 twin beds, and 1 queen sleeper. This unit also has a washer & dryer.

Cottage at Old Colony Beach

Had a quiet, relaxing, pleasant week in cottage very close to the lovely Old Colony Beach. I look forward to coming back next year.

Beach life

Beautiful community and beach. First time we stayed in area will stay again. Many state parks in the area with nice beaches. Nice fishing areas too.

Perfect family getaway

Place was clean, roomy, updated, and just as described. Exactly what you’d expect for a beach house rental. Biggest complaint is couch was less than stellar, and a few chairs were broken but not really a big deal. Owner was kind, responsive, and present. We had unusually hot weather and he came by to put in ac, address any issues and made our stay comfortable. We had a large party and rented multiple units and everyone had a lovely time. Highly recommend!

Old Lyme in September

Very close to the beach. Nice area to take walks. Living room furniture needs an update, very uncomfortable. Mold was present when you opened the shower door in the bathroom. Beds were Ok.

Enjoyed are stay very much, we will return ,the only thing is the pull out sofa was everything you would expect of a pull out sofa in a beach rental, would recommend an air mattress if using the pull out.

The cottage is located in a safe neighborhood in beautiful Old Lyme.

Old Lyme is truly one of the nicest areas to visit if you like a small town country feel. The beach is private, clean and well maintained. My two teens and lab joined me on our beach trip. The cottage was perfect for our needs. The cottage was nice but not too nice that you felt uncomfortable. I liked that the cottage provided it's own private deck and grill for the renter, meaning I didn't have to share with my neighbor. The community holds year round folks and seasonal renters. Visit Bills for excellent seafood. Ice cream that's located just before the entrance is amazing, with many flavors. We will definitely be back. Yvette

Bargain Beach Babe

If you were looking for a reasonably priced no-frills close to the water cottage, this is it! The price is right although the beds aren’t great ( I bought a topper for 50 bucks at Walmart) And they have everything you need for a stay on the Long Island sound. I would say this is more of a weekly choice than a monthly, I was there for a month and was longing for a little more luxury. The owners are great however, and it is clean and you have all the basics. Definitely in a safe, quiet, friendly neighborhood. A mix of year-round and weekend people,Old Lyme is much better than old Saybrook, in my opinion. There is a local pub called Lenny’s two blocks away, I didn’t even find it till I been there for two weeks. Don’t miss it as youCan walk to it on the beach and it’s full of local color. I liked Old Lyme for restaurants and shopping, coffees is the local gourmet food market and is a morning scene for breakfast.All in all, I highly recommend this little find.
