I am Irish & was a Staff Nurse for years, but once a nurse, always a nurse. I just love looking after people.
I'm also involved in music (singer/songwriter) & hold an MMBE Dip in Managing a Music Business Enterprise.
I have been renting out property in Nerja for approximately 20 years, but then Covid came & I couldn't. However on the back of Covid I decided to undertake extensive renovations on Casa Lola & I am delighted with the amazing results! I hope you are too!
Only this year I have started all over again with the rentals & I hope to rebuild all the fabulous reviews I had previously.
I love meeting my guests from all over the world & ensuring their comfort, safety & that they all have a great holiday.
Why they chose this property
I did not choose Nerja easily. I actually travelled over 3 years from as far as Estepona & all the way up to Torrevieja, so I covered approx six Costas.
Nerja ticked all the boxes because it has retained it's authenticity eg., the Mayor will not allow building over a certain height so you don't get the big high rise blocks you see further down the coast.
Nerja also attracts a great class of tourists from all ages & backgrounds. It's a place where everyone can go out and enjoy the local dining (some fabulous restaurants!), nightlife etc. I have never in 22 years of coming here, saw any violence, broken glass on streets etc etc. This very much appealed to me. Plus the locals are just so lovely & welcoming.
The scenery plays a major role too of course & when I bought the villa all those years ago, I purposely choose an area opposite the beach, close to town & with the most stunning sea and mountain views that they are so good for relaxation.

What makes this property unique
Undoubtedly the stunning sea & mountain views! Location, location, location as always. You can see all the stunning views when you are in the infinity pool also - guests love it!
Casa Lola has been modernised to a high standard & includes an Italian designer kitchen complete with a built in steamer, microwave, dishwasher etc. We also have a big gas BBQ - it's old style which we find are the best.
There are approximately 8 terraces to enjoy on the grounds & everyone finds their own favourite. After all, coming to Spain is all about outdoor living. Every terrace has it's own pieces of furniture.
We have black out blinds & two big electric awnings at the front of the villa which really helps you to cool down in high season.
The area is peaceful, yet right on the edge of the town so you can easily access the noisier areas as you wish. You have a choice of beach or footpath if walking to the centre - I usually choose the beach of course!
