: The house was spacious and had all the necessary facilities. The air conditioning worked well and the TV was large. It’s perfect for a large group. Communication with the team was fine. I’d go back in a heartbeat. The only downside was that they couldn’t tell us whether the awnings on the terrace could be lowered in any way. It would have been nice to have some shade in the afternoon, but it wasn’t really a problem either. The shower on the terrace, which we needed to use when we got back from the beach, was broken, but we were able to use an extra hose that was provided.

Locked out of this villa at night, slow host help, and a house with real problems.We stayed at this villa in El Puig as a group of 10 for a work trip to Valencia, and it was one of the worst rental stays any of us has had.The check-in instructions said no physical keys were needed for the property. When we arrived, the villa's street gate was locked with a manual key lock that the smart lock and pin code couldn't open. Nine women and I were stuck outside the property at night for about two hours. The host's emergency line went unanswered, replies came slowly, and we were told we should have just waited. In the end we had to lift someone over the gate to get into the villa, and one of our group was hurt doing it. The host didn't know where the gate key was, and a backup key was only left in a lockbox at the gate the next day.Inside the villa, the master bathtub didn't drain and there was mildew around the tub. The master bedroom window wouldn't close, so mosquitoes came in every night when the lights were on. The sheets and towels were so heavily fragranced that everyone complained of headaches while trying to sleep.The villa's location near the beach is nice, but the access problems, the bathroom, the broken window, and the slow communication made this stay stressful from start to finish. We would not stay at this property or book with this host again.

We were very happy to stay at the chalet in Valencia (Puig) managed by GuestReady. The house is huge, very spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you need. The pool is incredible, perfect for relaxing. Additionally, the house is really close to the beach, with all its attractions, bars, and restaurants.

Our stay in Puig was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect — only about a 20‑minute drive to Valencia — making it easy to explore the city while enjoying a quieter, relaxing area to come home to.The house itself was a true WOW for our family. Spacious, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed, it made us feel right at home even though we were thousands of miles away. The check‑in process was smooth thanks to clear, straightforward instructions, and settling in was effortless.GuestReady hosted the property, and all communication was done by email. For most of the stay, that worked fine. The only issue came on our last night: when we returned from a family dinner, the front gate wouldn’t open at all. GuestReady responded by email and tried to help, but they never called, so I eventually had to climb the gate to get inside. It seemed like someone may have cleaned the pool earlier and accidentally locked the gate.Aside from that one hiccup, the stay was incredible. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and in a great location. I would absolutely recommend it — just be sure to double‑check that everything is working properly when you arrive.

Crockery, cutlery and saucepans all mixed together in various places and very little room in them to actually put any food away. Meaning it always looked untidy. Also, the ice maker on the fridge leaked constantly, meaning a cloth had to be kept under it. However, apart from that we were very pleased.

Our stay was wonderful although there were many inconveniences too. The host only provided us 1 bath towel per person and NO BEACH/POOL TOWELS were available for use at all. Considering we all traveled from the USA clearly we would not have space to pack a beach towel in addition to everything else. There were no paper towels or basic cooking supplies, like pepper, salt, seasonings etc. No paper towels, were provided and barely any trash bags. We had to go buy our own laundry detergent. Other than all these inconveniences the house was nice.

It's a lovely property on the doorstep of the Med and in a usually quiet neighbourhood but there was almost constant building work on the house next door and across the road. The house was well appointed with the master bed being extremely comfortable. Clean property all-round, but with one exception - the pool, this was the main reason we came here and it wasn't up to scratch. The day we arrived we reported the pool was dirty and it took a day before we got a reasonable reply. Some of the communications were slightly accusatory and that the pool had been cleaned, then that the dirt was our fault and asking what type of dirt it was! A simple visit would have identified that it was not satisfactory and when the pool cleaner was sent we lost a full day without the pool. However it was dirty again within a day and the whole patio was covered in grit and dust, we ascertained that I was due to the jackhammer and building work next door but did not hear anything back. Took the shine off a really good time which was diminished by this issue. This is why three stars - pool issues and not the greatest interactions with guestready.

Lovely house but garden/pool not great

Great house, very clean, large and great air conditioning. Location very good for beach. Main downside and why we didn't rate it higher is the garden/pool area. There is little garden (not an issue) but area around the pool is limited. This area gets 6 hours of intense sun with no shade. Only 3 sun loungers (for a house of possibly 12 guests), no place to sit and eat/socialise outside (a table is outside but only 2 chairs). There are awnings for shade but the controllers are not provided (we asked for them and were eventually given them but we couldn't get them to work). No other ways to shade the pool terrace so you go in the pool, get out and need to go inside to shelter from the very hot sun (sun too hot/UV too strong). This is major downside of this property and if addressed would significantly enhance it. We paid a premium for this property and would have expected some of the smaller issues including: No iron as detailed (agent tried over 2 days to sort but it would have meant us being in to receive parcel - something you go on holiday to get away from). Mouldy, decaying bath mat. 3pm checkin not possible as still cleaning 345pm. One small rubbish bag, no soap for bathrooms, aircon leaks onto terrace, no towel for drying kitchen items, longstanding broken toilet seat. Pool was dangerous with multiple broken/missing tiles) and big drop off one side - children! Overall a great stay but pool issues and small things could be easily sorted to make better.
