This property is in the ideal location, only minutes from Anchorage (going South) or the Matanuska-Susitna valley (going North)! Whatever direction you go, this home will be a perfect 'middle ground' located only 8 minutes outside of the charming little town of Eagle River, Alaska and 25 minutes from downtown Anchorage. Enjoy the 8 person hot tub right off the back deck and plenty of wildlife such as migratory birds, moose, and even bear that sometimes pass through the property grounds.

This property is a GREAT spot for families. Enjoy the zipline, kids playhouse/swing set, books, toys, etc!

The gorgeous master suite with king bed features a gas fireplace, MASSAGE CHAIR, and a balcony overlooking the beautiful birch tree forest behind the house. Charles was born and raised in Homer, Ak and moved to the Anchorage area In his early 20s. Jessica grew up in California and moved to Alaska with her father when she was 17. Charles and Jessica have four kids who they homeschool and love to travel and adventure with. Our family loves Alaska and all the beauty and wonder it has to offer!

Why they chose this property

We love this neighborhood because it's safe, quiet and peaceful. The proximity to Eagle River, Anchorage and the valley is perfect. We love how close the property is to several beautiful lakes, rivers, hiking trails and the Eagle River Nature Center, among other local desirable locations. It's the perfect area for a base while visiting this beautiful state in our opinion!

What makes this property unique

The property sits on 3 acres and backs up to 400 acres of land with trails winding back through the woods. This is the perfect location between Anchorage and the Valley where you don’t have to sacrifice luxury and still have plenty of privacy tucked away in beautiful Birchwood. We have Ring doorbell camera at the front door. For additional security and theft deterrence we have left multiple security cameras up around the exterior of our home.; however they are NOT currently active.
