About this property
Artist Retreat, ranch home just minutes from downtown Anchorage.
Welcome to our relaxing ranch home in Eagle River, just a short drive from downtown Anchorage. Works of art created by Alaskan artists are displayed throughout the home for your enjoyment, and can be purchased if you choose.
A spacious living room offers free wireless internet, HGTV with streaming device, a large variety of DVD's and videos, and a bookshelf full of Alaska themed reading material. There is a full size upright piano and sheet music for your enjoyment. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need to make something delicious. There's a double oven electric range, coffee/tea bar with Keurig, and table that seats 6. The master bedroom has a plush queen mattress with adjustable bed, ample storage, and a HGTV and DVD player. A fully re-modeled master bath with tub and shower sits privately off the master. The second bedroom has a twin loft bed and a regular twin bed with a small television and DVD player. The third bedroom has a memory foam queen mattress and ample storage. The main hallway bathroom has a large vanity with updated shower and tub. The garage on site is unavailable for use, however, a large driveway provides ample parking for 2 full-size vehicles. The neighborhood is quiet with friendly neighbors.
Eagle River offers easy access to multiple hikes, lakes, and rivers as well as the Nature Center. A short 5-minute drive up Skyline provides views of Sleeping Lady and the Eagle River skyline, as well as amazing views of the Northern Lights when visible in winter.
Eagle River is centrally located, making adventure in either direction a sure thing. Take a 15-minute drive to Anchorage where the Fur Rondy is held every February or catch the train to someplace you've never been. Go south to Girdwood and visit Alyeska, or the Wildlife Conservation Center, or further south to Seward, Kenai, or Homer to enjoy the ocean. Take a 30-minute drive North to Wasilla or Palmer where the Alaska State Fair is held, or further to Talkeetna, Denali and Fairbanks.
Wherever your adventure in Alaska takes you, you'll be sure to enjoy a relaxing return home at our Artist Retreat on Bridger Pl.
