The lodge was huge! Way larger than the photos imply. Lake view was perfect! Access to canoes, kayaks, etc. was really nice. Lodge was very clean, and welcoming. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog with us. He is older in years and loves to be with his family! Fire pit was beautiful, and on the waterfront, with a picnic table nearby to hold all the smore makings. Overall an A experience.

Perfect vacation spot! The owners are fantastic, lodge was spotlessly clean and well-equipped, and the kayaks/canoes/paddle boards were a huge hit! Our three-generation family had plenty of room to spread out, shoot pool, watch movies, etc. We were so happy to have our dog with us, too.

The Ruffed Grouse Lodge is a fantastic property. The home is comfortable and spacious and is stocked with everything you need both inside and outside. Our dogs loved the beach area. Loved the hammock! Highly recommend and would definitely stay again should we return to the area. Although we didn’t have young children with us, it would be perfect for families with kids.

The cabin is incredible, we enjoyed the canoe and paddleboards. The fire pit is huge, we had a couple decent bonfires. There’s a town nearby with everything we needed/forgot to bring. The property is gorgeous!!

A great stay at the Ruffed Grouse Resort

Our family had an excellent vacation at this resort. The hosts were very accommodating, and the cabin itself was very nice and well equipped. The fishing on Wilson Lake was great, and our grandchildren learned the joys of kayaking. We enjoyed ourselves so much, I suspect that we will return in the future.

Beautiful property! Close to town. Something for everyone including a swim platform, kayaks, paddle boards, perfect secluded beach with sand toys, etc. The house itself had so many activities and lots of room to spread out. Loved the pool table and games. So many thoughtful things included like beach towels, life jackets, kitchen items, and more.
Perfect, quiet bay for paddling and fishing

Perfect Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the Ruffed Grouse Lodge! The cabin was very clean and everything you could possibly need was provided. We can not say enough positive things about this place. My daughters favorite event of the week was visiting the chickens every morning.
