Welcome to our beautifully restored historic space with modern amenities! On the main level, you'll find 2 private bedrooms with king beds and luxury linens plus a kitchen and living room. The upstairs great room offers a lofty feel with a large king-size bed and pullout couch. Enjoy proximity to scenic Gillham Park and a short stroll to Westport's vibrant shops, restaurants, bars, & coffee shops. This property is managed by Karat Vacation Rental Management.
Within each, you will find 1 private bedroom with a brand-new queen bed and luxury linens. Both living areas have a pullout couch that sleeps 2. There is an additional queen bed in the upstairs living room. Just steps from the beautiful Gillham Park and a short walk to the Country Club Plaza and the neighborhood of Westport where you'll find tons of shops, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops......
You will access your unit via a keypad on the unit's front door giving you the freedom to come and go as you please without the hassle of keys!
Pets are welcome for a nominal pet fee -$40 per pet. $100 per pet for long-term stays. Pets must be crated while unsupervised, house trained, and are not allowed on the furniture or in the beds.
No parties or gatherings. The number of people in the unit may not exceed the guest count on the reservation unless special permission has been granted. This extends to the building amenities as well.

i loved my stay and the fact that there were two seperate places it definitely helped out and the place was really nice and clean and even more spacious than the pictures which is a plus
good location to plaza, westport, downtown. Three actual beds very comfortable, pullout couch not so much. nice outdoor seating area. The nearby intersection is pretty busy with traffic. upstairs a/c not able to do much on 80 deg day
Wonderful place to call home away from home. Enjoyed the front porch & watching the squirrels in the neighborhood.
We were there for my dad's surgery. This house made us comfortable & at ease during a tense life event.
We used the recommendation of Q39 for a place to enjoy a meal after a stressful day. It did not disappoint.

This was a perfect place for us to stay while seeing a show at the Kauffman. It’s very close to restaurants and the neighborhood appears to be quiet and well kept.There are just a few maintenance items that could use attention. There are several soft spots in the flooring upstairs. There is very little lighting at night when you get to the top of the stairs. I had to use the light on my phone to unlock the room.But by and large, this is a great location, responsive host, and a great price
The street the property was on was nice but getting there was a not the greatest. The house was clean and decorated very cute. It needs some updates soon, such as paint, furniture seems well used upstairs, and the upper level floor was soft in a lot of places when you walked around. I was nervous about the back porch that was taped off and a shack at the back of the driveway that was closed when we got there and opened when we left. We think maybe someone slept in it overnight. I wished the main front door had a lock for a more secure feel, but felt decently safe overall. Easy to set up and get in.
The pictures represented in this listing are not what the property actually looks like. Rooms are set up completely different. Walls and trim are in VERY bad shape and dirty. The homes foundation is falling apart. There are cracks everywhere and the actual house is leaning to one side. We had trouble checking in, the codes provided for the doors were not working on one unit. This is also two units, not one. It is actually a duplex with separate entries. I don’t think they made that clear in the listing description.We did message them the day we were leaving and no one ever responded to our message. I would not stay here again or suggest it to friends or family.
We rented to have a location near the Country Club Plaza to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday. We enjoyed a carriage ride to see the Christmas lights, a cultural scavenger hunt, a tour of Tom's Town Distillery and amazing restaurants! The property was a perfect launching pad.
I lived in an old house in this neighborhood for 2 years and was excited to get back to it. The house was great. Anything can be improved with feedback but for the description and expectations it was a 5 star. Lance reached out multiple times and there was all the appliances and things needed to be comfortable.
We found the property to be just like the pictures. It was a great location to the plaza and to highways. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet. We were in the city to visit with relatives and this property allowed us great space to rest & relax between visits.
The house is adorable and the neighborhood is quiet. This was perfect for a girls-night-in.

The place was so spacious and perfect for what we needed (bachelorette party & wedding weekend). It provided so much space for getting ready and hanging out as well as getting time for yourself. The location is PERFECT for doing anything in Kansas City. The only not great thing is that there were quite a bit of bugs we found inside the house that we had to kill.
This was the perfect place for my two adult children and their families when we gathered in KC. Very clean and great to have laundry facilities. Great location to access the plaza and other sites of interest.
I traveled with my husband and two sons aged 3.5 yrs and 17 months. We also had our Au Pair with us. Lots of pros with this rental that make up for the few cons. Pros are that the property is an excellent location -very short walk to Gilliam park and splash ground (great for my sons), short drive to Nelson Atkins Art Gallery and Westport. Ample parking. It was furnished and equipped well. The property manager was excellent with communication! The cons are that you have to go through a bedroom to get to each of the bathrooms. Won’t be an issue for most travelers. The doors to each unit are easily unlocked/opened by my 17mo old from the inside who wasn’t good with stairs yet and some of the decorative items were pointy and had to be placed out of arms reach so it wasn’t very toddler friendly. The upstairs unit had a difficult time staying cool in the summer heat. I would highly recommend staying here if those things are non issues for you. It was very nicely decorated and had everything a traveler would need including a great host.
This property was great! My grandson was there for eye surgery at Children’s Mercy, and my daughter wanted a house so we would not disturb neighbors if he became to fussy after surgery. This was a perfect location! It was close to everything we had to, and like to do in KC. It is in a great neighborhood with off street parking. I was attracted to this listing, because I could have my space downstairs , and they had there space upstairs. We will definitely be back!
A group of 7 of us stayed at the house for a bachelorette party and it worked out very well! It has a long driveway for parking multiple cars and lots of comfy beds. It is a split level so we had both sides of the house which allowed us to have two kitchens. The area was perfect as it is only a mile from the plaza area with great access to restaurants and shopping! Would definitely stay here again.
The location can’t be beat! It was easy to get into and clean! Beds were Comfortable and the manager lance was helpful and easy going. I Would stay here again!

Fantastic
This location was perfect for us. We were in KC for a bachelorette party & the location was great. Also, Lance was very prompt in any questions or concerns we had. There was plenty of parking in the driveway. The only downfall I would say was the trash outside was already full by the time we arrived & we stayed 2 nights & by the time we left the trash can was overflowing.
