This is our second stay at the Waldo Craftsman. It is located exactly where we would like to be to visit family and some of our favorite Kansas City places. It is just right for us with room for family to join for movie watching or a meal.

My husband and I had a wonderful weeklong stay at Kristen's home in KC. We were also blessed to bring our cat for an easy fee. He found many places to perch! The home was just as pictured and impeccably clean. I appreciated the bathroom amenities including shampoo and conditioner, and in the kitchen with supplies for the Keurig and plentiful spices and cooking utensils. The bed was very comfortable on the main floor, with extra blankets provided. We were also able to log into youtube to enjoy some TV and movies after a long day. We explored the Zoo & Aquarium, KC museum, Toy and Miniature Museum, Arabia Steamboat Museum, Union Station, WWI Museum and Tower, and the Nelson-Atkins Art museum.Restaurants to visit:Waldo PizzaBier HallEl MagueyGrunauerCheck-in was seamless and contactless and Kristen checked in with us a few times to make sure all was going well. I would highly recommend this stay and hope to return again!Krissi

Comfortable, cozy home in great neighborhood

The house was comfortable and the backyard was great place for our dogs. The neighborhood was a nice place to walk the dogs. The location was convenient to several KC sites such as the Plaza or Crown Center.

Great Respite!

As residents of KCMO, we were delighted to find a place to settle into while our floors were being refinished at home. The house was tidy and accommodating and the area was amazingly quiet for being just blocks from a major N-S artery. The location is central to most any destination in town and it was great to walk along the Trolley Track Trail with our pups. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-day stay in the Waldo area!

Cute update little house. Had everything we needed for our stay. Appreciated the fenced in yard and scoop for the pups. Would recommend and great communication from host.

Love Waldo

We were excited to find a place in Waldo-one of our favorite neighborhoods in KC. The home had everything we needed and several easy ways to contact the host if there were additional needs. Quiet neighborhood close to a variety of restaurants and within easy driving distance to all of the KC attractions.

Waldo Craftsman

Great base for exploring south KC. Right next to Harry Wiggins Trolley Track Trail - great for biking! And only 2 blocks from KC Bier Co, which turned out to be an excellent local brewery. Less than a 15 minute drive to numerous attractions (Starlight Theater, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, National Museum of Toys and Miniatures) and fine restaurants. Not an upscale neighborhood, but comfortable and safe. The property was comfortable and well equipped - ideal for a couple, would be suitable for up to 4 adults. A BIG plus is that pets are allowed and provided with a welcome package!! We would stay here again.

Clean, quite and pet friendly

The hose is as describe, very clean and loved the fenced in backyard for my pups. Lots of great places like Target and dining places very close by. The neighborhood is in a process of revitalization so be aware of that. I would stay again. The id verification is kind of a put off and there was another $35 I had to pay. I understand the need but I'm not a fan of a third party having that much info for 7 years. Read the fine print.
