Beautiful home in a great area! Perfect for our family of 10 adults to stay for the long weekend. The area is quiet yet very close to all attractions either by walking or jumping on the train. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The only issue was the WiFi connection was down most of the stay but normally it would be working. I would definitely stay in this property again if we return.

Heather, thank you so much for your review. We are very glad you enjoyed your stay, and would like to apologise for the issue with the WiFi. Our network provider migrated our router to their new network promising the change would be totally smooth. Sadly it wasn't. There was a problem with the exchange and they had to send out an engineer, and that took them a few days. This was all beyond our control. We now do have a super fast broadband download speed of 500–900 Mbps which is outstanding and better than ever. We constantly strive to provide the best possible guest experience. We will be very happy to welcome you back.
We had a terrific stay. The house is beautiful and very well appointed with everything you need for a great stay. The home has a wonderful layout with a generous amount of bathrooms. Common space is wonderful. Great neighborhood with a lot of fun pubs and great restaurants. Manager was very helpful.
Lots of room, great location, property needs a refresh.

Thank you Sheldon, and we appreciate the feedback. We are constantly monitoring any improvements needed in our property, as our priority is providing our guests a great experience. We hope to see you again.
This is a well sited property close to South Kensington Underground station, Natural History and Science museums. There is a Waitrose supermarket 50M away and many pubs and restaurants nearby. The property is well furnished, modern with quality bathrooms and kitchen. The bedrooms have A/C. A minor issue with the hot water was fixed quickly by its charming owner.

Tom, thank you for your review. We are happy you had a good stay, and we sincerely apologise for the issue you experienced. We hope to see you again.
We thought the Mews House was in a great location - close to two tube stations; safe; lots of wonderful stores and good restaurants nearby; a charming pub around the corner and a beautiful park to stroll and explore just a couple of blocks away. The house is up-to-date, bright, and beautifully decorated - most comfortable!
The air conditioning on the top floor doesn’t seem to work. The owner stopped by to deal with it but we couldn’t get it to work. It seems as though there is heat on in the master bath. Very warm. Otherwise bows great.

Martha, thank you for sharing your review. We are very glad you enjoyed your stay. We would like to clarify that the air conditioning was and is working fine. Instructions were given to your party on how to flick the switch, which only take seconds. We hope to welcome you back in the future.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
The location and layout of this home is great. Great neighborhood. The decor was nice also. The kitchen and bathrooms were not kept or very clean. The refrigerator smelled so badly we couldn't use it. While the space and layout are lovely if you are sensitive to mold or mildew this may not be the best home for you. The host was a bit short which felt unnecessary.

Lauren, thank you for sharing your review with us. We are glad you enjoyed so many of the fantastic features of our place, and we apologise if you experienced anything wrong. We would like to emphasise very clearly that this is the first time in all the years that we have been hosting that someone has complained about issues with mould and smells in the fridge. We can assure you they were nonexistent. The fridge was checked and did not smell at the start of your stay and was checked the day you left and again there was no trace of mould or smells then either. If you had reported the issues during your stay, which you did not, we could have sent someone immediately to rectify any problems, if there were any. Our housekeeping team has a great record, but nevertheless we have passed your feedback to them to ensure they maintain their usual high standards. All the best
We had such an enjoyable stay at this lovely home. Our point of contact was Toby and he responded quickly on each question I asked. The check in was so easy and he even allowed us to get in early so we could drop off our luggage.
The house was large and we could all spread out. Everyone could get a bed and plenty of bathrooms.
There was a problem with the water heater and a couple of us had to take cold showers…but….Toby got someone over within 30 minutes of me letting him know. The actual owner, Mark, came by and got it working. He was so nice and gave us helpful traveling spots.
The reason for the 4 for location was only that the Tube stations took me a little longer to walk to. I thought it was closer. The kids and grandkids had no trouble but a little harder for me.
Overall this is a great house for larger families and I would recommend it!
Absolutely fantastic property and location. We were a total of 6 adults and had plenty of room - air con was a huge bonus. Will most certainly stay again.
We had seven in our party - 2 couple and 3 young adult children. Everyone was delighted with this property: the AC was so welcome after a hot day of travel, everyone had their own space, the living room was large enough so that we could all hangout and the kitchen had a delightful selection of teas and basics. It’s an ideal location: Waitrose grocery store is a few minutes walk, you’re very close to two tube stops, there’s world-class shopping and dining just blocks away and a gem of a pub around the corner full of locals and good vibes. In retrospect we wished we had extended our stay because this flat was so comfortable and well-appointed.
We had a wonderful stay at this home with our large, multi-generational family during the recent London heatwave. I'll start by saying I think this house had the best air conditioning in the entire city—it was an absolute lifesaver! The home has five spacious bedrooms, and every bed was incredibly comfortable. We all commented on how well we slept each night. The second floor features an open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining area that became the heart of our stay. It was the perfect place to gather at the beginning and end of each day, with plenty of comfortable seating and a large TV where we enjoyed watching the World Cup together. The house was exceptionally well equipped. It had everything we needed, including thoughtful touches like charging stations in every bedroom. The location was another highlight. Although the house is tucked away on a quiet residential street, it's just steps from a wonderful neighborhood coffee shop and a grocery store. High Street, with its pubs, restaurants, and shopping, is only a couple of blocks away, and it's an easy walk to Kensington Palace.Working with Tobias was easy and efficient from start to finish. Since the house wasn't rented the night before our arrival, he graciously allowed us to check in at 10:00 a.m., which made a huge difference after an overnight flight. This home exceeded our expectations, and we would happily stay here again on our next trip to London.
