Excellent location, friendly host with good communication. Some things around the property require maintenance and repairs: a broken chair, toilet handles, etc. Nothing major. Would recommend and would happily stay again.

The host for this property was a terrible to deal with. Prior to our stay there were issues with our reservation that took 3 weeks of messaging and follow up to get resolved. It would take her several days and multiple messages before she would reply to questions. I had to contact VRBO to have them intervene on my behalf for resolution. Once we arrived there were several issues with the home (broken toilet, no hot water, not enough towels, broken chair) and I spent the next 7 hours stuck at the house, waiting to hear back from the host and waiting to let in maintenance people. Again, she was very hard to reach despite having given us an alternative WhatsApp number to contact. The upstairs shower controls wouldn’t work (no hot water) so it couldn’t be used for bathing. Unfortunately these were not the worst problems we had. This home listed that it sleeps 10 - with 3 king and 2 queen beds. This is not accurate. It should state that it sleeps 8. The actual beds in the home are 1 king, 2 queen, and 2 full beds. The majority of our party were college aged boys so having them 2 to a bed in the full beds was ridiculous. This is not a home you can work from or do anything that requires streaming or downloading. The WiFi is terrible. It is also ridiculous that you access the property utilizing a single key that must be kept in the lock box in the event that other members of your party want to come and go. here are NO outlets in the bathrooms.

It was only ok. There was garbage in the kitchen upon arrival that we had to take out. We purchased paper towels and toilet paper. Also my granddaughter found prescription drugs underneath my bed. Not as nice as it should have been.

Pros: Excellent location - short walk to train or bus Easy access to local delights too: shops, parks bakeries, restaurants, & pubs. Always felt Host provided a nice guide to restaurants, shops, and other neighborhood treasures.Check in process went very smoothlyNice between floors desk area with courtyard view for working remoteCons - a bit of smoke and mirrors (the pictures show some cool wicker lighting - reality, it’s a wicker ball with a hole cut in it to place over a single light bulb hanging down. Between the two an average height person of 5’6 to 5’8 could not walk underneath it without hitting their head. Was it a huge issue? No, you just learned to walk around it. Beds were adequate, worked fine but nothing luxury (struggled with the pillow quality)Property maintenance TLC needed - window over tub would not close, when you lean back on one of the brown living room, arm chairs, the back gives, lv rm window crank missing, bedrm closet pulls on the highest bedrm closet were stripped and would pul out, no ice (realize this is a US std & I don’t expect an ice machine as a result, but it would be nice if a simple ice cube tray was provided to make ice). Stains on carpet, & dining rm chairs, Bare bones kitchen suppliesTop Master bedroom- carpet was not swept & toilet had flushing pressure issues - didn’t have enough power to get everything down, every flush.Some TLC would greatly improve property on an amazing location. We’d stay again IF improved.

Great location. Clean house, lots of stairs, no A/C but you can rent small unit if they have one available. Plumbing needs improvement. Living room nice size our favorite room in the house, great breeze. Laundry units very small dryer only works on one setting. Bed rooms dated but no complaints. Considering costs in area was a fair price. Much better for a family than small hotel rooms. Remember 6 flights of stairs to master bedroom. Bring electric converters if coming from United States, need for England. Electric definitely dated. The house has fans , we found one for each room. You get one towel each, one drying cloth for dishes.plenty of glasses, utensils and plates.pots,no griddle or baki g sheet.no coffee maker. We rate house a 7.
