Always a perfect place to for us to relax

This cottage is delightful. It suits us as a family and has a beautiful and private little courtyard ideal for morning coffee or a sundowner. We have been visiting annually since 2021 and it’s our absolute favourite. Very convenient for local beaches, Truro and St Austell, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Mevagissey etc. The manor gardens are gorgeous and our hosts Annie and Brian are wonderful. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

A Peaceful Retreat Surrounded by Nature

A picturesque place with a beautiful garden. The holiday cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The friendly and discreet hosts are always happy to help with any questions or problems. The property is situated above a valley, with a charming footpath leading through the woods down to the beach. If you’re looking for peace, nature, and relaxation, this is the perfect place.

Very comfortable cottage with all the necessary amenities. Good location for exploring. You can hike to the coast path without using the car. Rachel, who helps out the hosts at the property was great...very friendly and attentive.

Everything was as we expected. Parking was easy to find. The upside down house was lovely for admiring the gardens and countryside. It was warm and everything worked well. The bed was very comfortable. The area wss very nice and not too far from accessible roads leading north and south. Close to the coast and not far from Truro. Lots of very nice cafes and restaurants nearby. No cooking needed for the trip.

Super

Lovely cottage with beautiful view over the countryside and the owners superb garden. Very relaxing and so quiet. The kitchen was very well equipped, and much thought had been put into providing cooking staples such as oils, vinegar, stock cubes for example. Bed was super comfy. An excellent holiday home.

Pleasant Hideaway Cottage

The cottage is cosy, clean and comfortable. It's in a beautiful, peaceful rural location with reasonably quick access to local facilities. It had a couple of minor quirky issues (an occasionally noisy boiler in the upstairs lounge, a bedside lamp that's too dim to read by ....), but overall it was very nice and good value for money compared to other nearby options that were available. It was also ideal for me for accessing coast path walking.

Stunning upside down converted stone barn. Bright and comfy big windows great aspects. Everything yo

Stunning upside down converted stone barn. Big bright windows to all sides with amazing views across the gorgeous Manor House gardens and beyond.Kept very private with a pretty courtyard to sit out. All facilities, and very clean. Hosts were very welcoming and happy to see you in wandering in the gardens. Great walks to beach, National Trust parking available in some areas; there is much to do in this very unspoilt area. Can’t wait to go back.

A wonderful stay

This is the fourth time we (me, my daughter and nine year old grandson) have had the pleasure of holidaying in this delightful cottage. It’s our home from home and we cannot imagine going anywhere else, truly. We love the location, the cosy feel of the cottage, and our wonderful hosts. Annie is so welcoming and will ensure you have everything you need. We just love this two bed upside down living because we can see the fields and woodlands beyond. It’s also short walk from the quaint old Melinsey Mill. One word to sum up: fabulous.

Little Crugsillick Cottage Stay March

We spent an enjoyable week at this cottage in march. On arrival it was warm, clean & the wine & biscuits were very welcome. Communication with owners who live on site was good. They were friendly & helpful & there was lots of helpful info in the cottage. The gardens they've created are beautiful. The cottage was spacious for 2 of us & the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need. The log fire was lovely though logs were often quite damp so it was hard work to keep it alight at times. Little Crugsillick is in a good position near to some beautiful beaches and places. Nearby Caerhays gardens were lovely. There are some nice local walks straight out of the door but unfortunately the cornish weather wasn't very kind to us & many paths were too muddy to enjoy but the cottage was nice to return to & the large bath a lovely treat at the end of a soggy day!
