Great Location - but had a major issue
The check in process is all virtual. So, plan on having your data turned on. The process seemed complicated, apps to download, etc. The host messaged me that the cleaners had advised him that 1 of the shower doors were broken, and that he'd come do the repairs between 8pm-9pm. Since we were planning on being back from supper only after 9 - this was going to work out perfectly. On our arrival from dinner, we saw the host had not been by. I messaged him we were all going to bed (10pm) - and asked if he'd be coming the next day, and if so what time. My brother and his wife were woken up at 1130 pm that night, as the door lock was being opened. The man there, was demanding to come in to fix the bathroom. My brother almost had to forcefully remove him from the unit. After 3 attempts of shouting at him to leave, he finally did. The entire event was quite disturbing and made it difficult to sleep the rest of the night. The next morning the host apologized, but didn't give an explanation as to why he would think it was ok to let himself in at 1130 pm, didn't knock first - just walked in. There were a few things we pointed out to the host afterwards - broken patio furniture on the terrace, mold one of the bathrooms, a window not opening, and the AC units keep shutting off. He made most of the repairs necessary after we checked out, no mention for ACs. However, we would not stay here again given our experience. The kitchen could use a toaster and a western style coffee machine.
