A lovely quaint and quirky property. As it is in the old town it can be quite difficult to park up and unload but we eventually made it. Having got used to the street we found parking to load up before check-out much less stressful. I didn't use much of the kitchen facilities but it looked like there was provision for those who would like to cook or bake.

We had a lovely week staying at Barbara's quaint old, quirky harbour side cottage. The cottage was just as expected from the listing and gave us everything we needed. Fabulous location so close to the harbour. Communication with Barbara was excellent both before and during our stay, and she provided a heap of useful information regarding the cottage, contacts, and the area in general. Staithes is a charming place and everyone is so friendly it was a pleasure meeting and chatting to many of the locals. One thing to note, as parking is available at the top of the village it is a steep climb via road or via cliff and steps but keeps you pretty fit going up and down every day to explore the surrounding area! Thank you Barbara we had a lovely stay and would definitely come again.
