Great stay! Loved the pool!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Swam in the heated pool most days. The screened in pool area was a wonderful area to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Very beautiful home we were honored that Mr.Hetzel allowed us to stay.

The property for the most part is very peaceful and quite with no other houses right next to you that makes it even better The pool and spa were amazing so relaxing I highly recommend this home to anyone . The owner was very attenative made sure we new everything we needed to know before arriving, never bothered us at all the entire week!

Great area they are building on the next block so all day you hear emergency backup beeping, nothing the host can do about progress ! Pool area was okay. Spa not really hot. The outdoor furniture needs some attention.

Thanks for review Sorry that was some building transaction during your stay in the area . Because normaly it is a very quiete location . The spa heating needs approx 45 minutes depence on outside temperature when it change from pool into spa to heat up to 97F . But after that it is getting hot . We will check the exterior furniture with our stuff . You are welcome back any time

Nice home but cameras are a little unnerving.

Home is nice for 2 people but only 1 bathroom and 1 mirror in the entire house would make it a challenge for 2 couples. The screen around the pool was damaged in the last hurricane so plenty of tree debris and bugs in the pool. It would have been nice to have a net to clean that out daily. Patio furniture is wooden slats . We had to go buy cushions in order to sit on them for any length of time. Beautiful pool area though and we spent all of our time out there.

Misleading information

Communication was missing- not responding to messages, only on emails but with a delay. Not informed or not even listed on ad that it was active building process at the property on one side and starting another one on the other side. The furniture around the pool was very old and need to be updated. Misleading information- there is a picture of a bathroom on the advertisement that is not available for use( 2 of the rooms are locked by the owner for “private” use, i guess the bathroom was in one of those rooms). Do not touch signs all over the house, zero privacy because of the camera around the pool. Garage is not available for use. Could be nice to provide some kind of inflatables for the pool and maybe some plastic cups for having a drink around it. I have send a questions to the owner but didn’t get an answer but when I stopped the a/c on a cold night I received a call right away. I understand it’s his property but when you rent it it should be nice and convenient for the people too. I don’t write this review to discourage anyone to rent it, but when its listed as “Home Like new” and you plan 6 months in advance and trusted to have a nice vacation and then you get all of this- honestly very disappointed

Dear Tanya , sorry to hear that . Will check pictures and update if needed . The listing was with two sleeping rooms , one bathroom and no Garage . There is just a sign not to touch the pool heating equipment and privat room doors . I always answer to my guest to regular hours . The security camera outside the house on pool area are not working during guest are staying . The house is in very nice condition . Also the house is in a quite area . I believe it is not fair to go with a review like this .

Home away from Home on Booth Avenue

The house is very modern, clean and typical of what we have experienced with other rentals in the Rotonda area. We had access to the guest bedrooms only, as the master suite was not accessible. The kitchen is nice, but sparsely equipped. We stayed at this rental for 3 months and cooked most of our meals, so there were some challenges to preparing some meals. The living space is ample, but the furniture was uncomfortable, as we needed to use several pillows to get into a comfortable sitting position. Very large pool and an excellent spa. We used the Spa almost everyday. However, only used the pool occasionally as the pool maintenance person could not keep the pool clean. For the last half of our stay the pool was green due to the inability of the pool maintenance company to look after it. There was no net to be able to remove debris from the surface of the pool, only the pool guy had one and so between visits the surface of the pool had debris on it. No hook for use in the pool in case someone was in trouble and needed to be pulled to safety. Somewhat of a private setting, but there is now a house being built on the east side and therefore privacy is limited. The air conditioning struggled to keep a consistent temperature as it was always above what the set temperature was and throughout the night when it was cooler, the temperature inside still remained high as it was always too warm. Overall, a very good house, great location, quiet neighbourhood, easy access to beaches, shopping, groceries, theatre and other events.

Nice house but…

You think your getting a whole house and it’s not. Owner locks off 2 rooms of the house. He controls the ac from Germany and has it at 77 overnight. We had to call him to make sure we can have control. Ac actually broke while we were there and spent a whole day waiting for them to arrive. He has cameras in the front and the pool area so you don’t real have privacy. My husband taped the camera in the back so that we didn’t feel uncomfortable. It was a very nice house but when you pay $1500 ans you think your getting a whole house only to find out it’s not you feel taken advantage of. Also, the picture of this home is very misleading. The landscaping hasn’t been kept up in a very long time so the house looks dirty and tired.

Amazing Trip

My wife and I stayed two months at Michael’s vacation rental. We loved the pool and hot tub. Completely private back yard was a joy. The home is close enough (10 minute drive) to the beach, and has several golf courses near by that we really enjoyed. The only negative is it took awhile and several requests to get a couple very minor concerns addressed by the owner, but we would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend this home to friends and family.

A Great Vacation!

My cousin and I rented Michael’s house. The place was perfect for us. Because we are in a pandemic (and being lazy is how we prefer to spend our vacation), we spent a lot of our time at the house. The hot tub and the pool were amazing and the smart tv made it easy for to really relax and enjoy ourselves. Everything was very clean, the neighborhood was good, and everything was as described in the listing and house manual. There were plenty of towels and linens. The only thing I’ll mention is that I would recommend bringing your own sponges, trash bags, and laundry detergent but other than those minors things, Michael has thought of everything you need for a great stay. I would highly recommend booking Michael’s house for your stay.

Great place to stay

My husband and I had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The home was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for the week. Great Pool & Secluded location

We enjoyed the cool pool & Spa areas the most, and also the privacy of the location, yet is close to supermarkets and the "civilization". The host was great and responded to every question/request within 24 hrs, even going above and beyond with a specific logistical request we needed to resolve during the stay. Had to adjust to having only 1 bathroom, and slightly smaller rooms, but was no big deal for our small family. Overall great experience, and would return if we come back to this area. Thanks Mike for all your attentions!

Just What We Needed

We thoroughly enjoyed our 30-day stay in this clean, spacious, contemporary home. It’s close to shopping and not far from the beaches. Sisters getaway

My sisters and I were able to meet in Florida and have a great time. We really enjoyed having the pool and hot tub to relax with. Owner was quick to respond to emails and helped with any concerns. I would definitely stay here again. It is a little farther away from the beach but having the pool was worth the extra 5 miles or so. Nice neighborhood. With all the trees and shrubs it was very private and relaxing.

We had a wonderful time at the property and Michael was a very gracious and responsive host. We had a few questions during our stay and he responded very quickly to all questions. The house is very nice and clean inside with all the things needed to make us feel at home. All the appliances, kitchen utensils and dishes were nice quality and in very good condition. The inside and outside furniture was great. We ate all of our meals outside under the covered patio. The pool and spa area is beautiful and very private. The security system is a real plus since it is so private in this location. The washer and dry was a plus too, so we could pack all clean clothes to go back home. The neighborhood is very quiet and it provides a very relaxing atmosphere. We would recommend this property to anyone. Mike and Debby

We enjoyed our extended stay at this home, which was very clean. The pool area was lovely, very large. We would love to see a couple extra chaise lounges so that 4 guests can relax in the lanai. We purchased closet hanging shelves for the 2 bedrooms, as they do not have dressers and a bedside lamp for reading. We enjoyed the quiet outdoor area, loved watching the birds and other wildlife that live there. We look forward to our return in March 2020. Thank you Mike!
