This was a wonderful place to stay! We had enough room for everyone. The location was perfect and close to family. Communication with the host and key holder was quick and easy. When we come again, we will make sure we check this location prior to staying anywhere else. Wonderful quiet area and we were able to see lizards, turtles, and a large iguana as well.

Very nice house with super clean pool! Nicely located in a quiet residential area. Sherry, the property manager, was very accessible and friendly. We had a great stay and would love to stay there again!

Thanks for pointing out the lose bar in the shower, this will be fixed. As for TV programming: Listing's description states: "TV entertainment is digitally received by antenna". You may, of course, stream any content you desire by way of the free internet access. However, there is no cable subscription nor do we provide an online content services account.

Peaceful location

Our stay at this property was wonderful .. very comfortable accommodations & the outdoor salt water pool area was an extra bonus. If you like peace and serenity, yet close enough to stores and restaurants, you will love this home . We look forward to our next stay.

Nice visit w/family

We came to visit family, it was me, my parents and my brother. This place had plenty of room to spread out. The pool was great, we were close to everything we needed. The key exchange was very smooth with Lisa taking time to show us around the place. Any questions were answered right away. We would definitely stay here again.

My son, wife, and child were very comfortable.

This house, which was very near to my own house in Port Charlotte, proved to be exactly the right situation for my son who was visiting from France. His wife and child thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The house was clean and well equipped. I will use these rentals again. An added plus was having Gerhardt nearby in case something was needed.

The beds are very uncomfortable and need to be replaced with better quality mattresses. We tried two different bedrooms and they were both bad. Also the bedroom furniture was of very poor quality. The pictures provided showed a gas barbecue but there was non on the property. We were looking forward to doing a lot of barbecuing. Kitchen utensils and glass ware was very cheap. We went out to buy wine glasses to enjoy glasses of wine rather then drinking wine out of mugs. Overall the property was cheaply furnished. Considering were paying over 200 hundred dollars per night for two weeks we would expect better. We have rented 5 houses in Port Charlotte Florida in the last six years and this was the poorest one we have ever rented.

One picture showed a gas-BBQ. Caption of this picture says: "BBQ is not part of the inventory". No BBQ was advertised in the listing. This is a basic home, it is described as such. "Cheap" is a subjective term. Whether one likes the mattresses is a question of taste. The rate is determined by season, guest booked 2 weeks in high season. This home is suited for 6 people, $200 divided by 6 is not even $35 per person per night.

Decent spot to crash at

Overall it was a good spot for crashing and keeping your items there. Pool was a nice touch. The place was a little dirty and has not had a good cleaning in a while. We had to buy coffee, trash bags, dish washer soap and shampoo. Some items, sure, but all other places we stay at include most of these items. The gentleman that helps with the key turnovers showed up unannounced to “check the pool” and kept peeking in looking at my wife get ready for the day. A little awkward! The owner of the property pushes all communications to this maintenance man, which is a little inconvenient. Pillows sucked, beds were okay. My advice is to bring your supplies with you and only use the place like a hotel.

As decribed in the listing, consumables are not included in the rental fee. This is not a hotel, but a vacation home. Pool & lawn service as well as technician may visit the place to do their work and might not announce themselves if they do not intend to enter the home. Peeking or no -- impossible to defend staff when only impression, hearsay, hyperbole, rumors are presented. Owner is quite accessible, only some topics are better discussed with keyholder on location.

Pool time!

We had such a nice stay! I had meetings to attend on zoom daily and the extra living space was perfect. I could be on my call and have the curtains open to see the sunshine and the pool. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the proximity to restaurants and stores! We only left the house once to get some extra groceries because that pool held our attention! My kids had a blast!

Lots of room!

Our family enjoyed our first time in Port Charlotte and visited with my parents who winter in Punta Gorda. The kids enjoyed the pool too. Boris and Gerhard were both great with communication.

Perfect Florida Vacation

We recently stayed at the Port Charlotte home. It was just at it was represented in the photos. Very clean, spacious and quiet. The beds and linens were very comfortable. They had everything we needed for the kitchen and bath areas. The pool area is lovely with seating for enjoying the lanai. Two bikes are provided so you can ride around the neighborhood. There are many fun things to do in the area. The owner was very quick to reply to questions. We would stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends.

Beautiful Area

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & LOVED having a private heated pool in the evenings. The area is beautiful and close enough for daily beach trips, which we took advantage of visiting many beaches and state park beaches.The house was clean & had everything we needed to make it feel like we were home. We’d definitely recommend this house and hope to get to enjoy it again on future vacations! Thank you!!
