John was a wonderful host and couldn't have made things easier. The location is wonderful and we hated leaving. Seeing the sun rise against the mountains and set over the loch ever day was wonderful. We would have loved to be able to stay even longer.Highly recommend!
Really enjoyed our stay at Harlosh Cabins. Every amenity we could need was provided. The view was beautiful, the location was quiet and secluded. It was a very relaxing stay.
We stayed at Cabin 1 for two nights while exploring the breathtaking Isle of Skye. John was welcoming and helpful and the cabin was clean, well-appointed and peaceful. A lovely alternative to busy Portree for those who won’t miss the amenities of town life.
We had a very pleasant stay in John‘s Cabin. The location is beautiful, especially the view from the little terrace during the Sunset. The cabin is very well equipped, so you have everything you Need during your stay. Definetly recommend.
Extremely clean. Kitchen well stocked. Lovely gifts laid out for the stay. Laundry soap and slippers provided. Host was very easy and quick to communicate. Hanging hooks everywhere which was amazing. They fit a lot into a small space. Parking was easy and very private walk to the cabin. Beautiful view right outside your windows.
We loved staying at this cabin. It’s right on the water, 10 minute drive to Dunvegan and John was a great host. We could see seals every day from the deck, great sunrise and sunset viewing, and it was a good basecamp for exploring Isle of Skye. The cabin had all the small touches that make a difference, like a well-stocked kitchen and washer/dryer. We’d definitely stay here again.
Nice updated little cabin. Felt safe. Host stayed in touch, no issues. Tip for future guests: on a windy day, inside the cabin you'll think the world is blowing away outside but do go out and check before you delay any plans, just sounds windier than it is.
Wonderful cozy little cabin right on the water. Great location with a short drive into Dunvegan. The cabin was well equipped with everything you need to make simple meals. All appliances were new and worked perfectly. Shower was comfortable and easy to use and John also provided a washer/dryer combo which was especially nice after struggling to get clothes dry in previous accommodations. The cabins were a perfect peaceful place after being in cities!
