The cottage is set in a peaceful crofting village and has excellent views of the nearby loch and mountains.
The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed and one bedroom has twin beds. The cottage is well-equipped with a full size cooker, microwave, fridge and toaster. Free Wifi throughout the property.
The living room has excellent sea views and the cottage has its own private parking outside. There is access to the shore.

Betty was very friendly and welcoming, including tea and biscuits on our arrival. Kitchen and house in general were very well equipped and the location was perfect. View from the lounge window was lovely.

Beautiful cottage!

Beautiful cottage right on the Loch Snizort. Lovely location, central for everywhere. The cottage is so clean and cozy, we didnt want for anything all week. Betty is lovely.

We loved are stay.

We loved the cottage and the location worked well for all our plans. We were centrally located to all the sites we planned to see. Betty was a fabulous host and the cottage was clean and comfortable.

Scotland forever

Betty was a great host and the cottage location made getting around to other locations good. Staying in the country side was very relaxing and I recommend this location to anyone wishing a “true” Highland experience!

Nice cottage with a great view

We spent a wonderful week on Skye. Betty gave us a very hearty welcome, she was very friendly and helpful. The house has everything you need and a terrific view of the landscape. It is a good starting point for excursions and hikes in the north and west of Skye and not far from Portree.

Fraser's on skye again

Lovely location, beautiful view very hot and sunny! Unbelievable weather for the Isle of skye. Cottage couldn't be better and the owner Betty made us feel extremely welcome. Highly appreciated and definitely recommend by all of us 👌

Loved Betty's cottage

We stayed for a week and found it quite easy to catch the bus at Betty's gate into Portree. From Portree we could easily travel all around the Trotternish Peninsula. We even had a walk toward Skeabost and discovered St. Columba's Island with ancient relics on it. Betty was gracious and friendly. Some of the people in our party had a sensitivity to fragrances and had an adverse reaction to the cleaning products that had been used before we came. We didn't think to ask about that. Fresh air through the week diminished scent. Betty went above and beyond offering tea, flowers and rides.

Ein herzlicher Dank an Betty

Wir wurden von Betty mit einer wundervollen Tasse Tee empfangen und fühlten uns sofort sehr willkommen. Das Ferienhaus liegt bezaubernd schön, ist perfekt ausstaffiert, sehr sauber und gemütlich. An kühlen Tagen spendet der Ofen behagliche Wärme. Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

une excellente base pour visiter Skye

Le cottage est très bien placé pour visiter toute l’île, au calme avec une vue superbe sur un bras de mer et les montagnes, mais pas loin de la route principale et à 15mn des commerces de Portree. Le cottage est très confortable avec tout ce qui est nécessaire (cuisine, salle de bains, laver et sécher le linge, livres …) il a en grande partie été rénové récemment. La propriétaire est très sympathique et accueillante, elle habite à 200m. Notre seul petit problème pendant le séjour a été résolu très vite. Nous sommes restés une semaine pour visiter l’île et randonner, nous étions tristes de partir. Nous nous sommes sentis bien à cet endroit et nous recommandons vivement ce cottage.
